Could it be that Wade Eiling makes his valued return?

Poster for next weeks showdown http://cdn.****************.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/the-flash-attack-central-city-poster-grodd.jpg

I hope someone says "Take your stinkin' paws off me, you damn dirty ape!"

I want a full on brawl between the Speedsters family vs. Grodds army.

Grodd continues to be the "Should be a season big bad, CW can't afford it" guy. Which is both a pity, and also awesome. Though I shall dream that season 5 will be "Grodd *is* the season big bad, with his plot to conquer the whole planet by transforming people into ape-slaves". They afford this through the power of "We've hit syndication and have been breaking all the rules for years".

Looks like [BLACKOUT]Accelerated Man aka the Flash from Gotham By Gaslight world[/BLACKOUT] will appear in this ep. :mrk:

Grodd is not gonna be satisfied until he gets Joe to shoot himself in the head before this show ends.

I want to know what happened on Earth 19 to make world jumping into an illegal thing.

Well, the CG hasn't suffered. This is the only show outside of premium cable that has decent vfx.

Though I love how the ground and terrain are almost unresponsive to the heavy gorillas. That's not an issue- just something I noticed. It's more noticeable here compared to Gorilla City.

Also, I wager leaving Grodd alive is less out of mercy and more so we can see more of him in future seasons. Maybe have him team up with King Shark.

Grodd vs Solovar was awesome

Barry that was quick! Wondering if that was meant to happen in the future where Iris dies.

Grodd vs Solovar was great. So, Wally and Jesse are moving in together after having their first kiss last week? Ok..

YES.

The episode wasn't as epic as I'd hoped it would be. Way too much personal bull****, though I sorta liked Harry's deep aversion to HR. Probably the budget couldn't allow more gorillas than were shown.

I hope Jessie staying on Earth 1 is only temporary.

Next week we get back to the main plot. That oughta be nice.

I think HR once said that it was because Earth 19 had previously been invaded by another Earth which led to some bloody conflict.

Hey, at least they're not like Anakin and Padme who got married after only 2 kisses that took place within a week.:o:o

Did it occur to the writers that Grodd could mind control Wally, Jesse, Harry, HR, Caitlin, etc to amp up the stakes?

Probably but if the plot doesn't allow it, the writers won't include it.

It was an ok episode but I was expecting something a bit more epic between the two.

Really? It was more epic than I thought it would be. The problem that these CW shows have a lot of the time is that they don't have the biggest budget in the world. Last episode had scenes with Cisco, Wells and I think somebody else doing Solivar and Grodd's dialogue to save money on CGI. They did it again here with Joe.

They clearly saved their special effects budget for the Flash vs Solivar fight last week and the big Solivar vs Grodd right this episode. I thought it was great. You have to accept that there are some limitations with the budget but they usually handle it well.

I found the whole "gorilla invasion" thing to be rather underwhelming myself. Also maybe Tom Cavanaugh has been playing HR for too long, but I think that they went overboard on Earth-2 Well's A-holeness here. He felt like a caricature of E2 Wells than actual Wells to me.

But on the flip side, Wally and Jessie (rushed relationship or not) continue to be cute together. And I hope that Jessie sticks around for awhile this time, I like her.

Sure the battle ended up being nothing. But team Flash are just so fun to watch, I didn't even care. Just a shame Julian wasn't around as well.

Also how dense is Cisco to start talking to freaking Caitlin of all people about HIS less than stellar love life.

Very fun episode, these last two are extremely ambitious .
