Unfortunately that's not going to change anytime soon. The STAR Labs crew need something to do other than being wallpaper, so that translates to Barry occasionally being a dumbass that needs tactical advice.

Learn to accept it or develop ulcers (real or metaphorical). Trust me I know from experience.

So true, that's why I'm no longer watching - it's too cringe-worthy to see how ******ed Barry comes over at times. I wonder whether they will one day change that again, or establish that Barry is able to use his brain. Probably not, but if then I may return to it.

The show is really not worth to get ulcers over, in any case.

I wish it was more like brain helps other brain helps other brain. Where Barry lacks, not in carelessness, but in bio engineering areas, Cisco can intercept, and medical areas, is where Caitlin is strong. It literally doesn't need to be this dumbed down. They are going out of their way to reduce Barry's neurons.

Finally had time to catch up, and I liked it. Not the best, but then again the best is hard to come by. Julian was great in his Indiana Jones garb and Cisco always entertains. Having Harrison back was great too. HR is ok, but he doesn't really contribute during a crisis, not like Harrison who is whipping up new tech at the drop of a hat! I'd like Harrison to stay and HR to go his own way.

That would be sad for the actor playing HR, but great for Cavanaugh!

A few plot holes, such as the convenient cells that kill everyone's metahuman powers except for Caitlyn's. She must have had a faulty cell.
Jessie being treated like a newb when she's been on her own for half a year.
Plus her deciding to abandon Earth 2 just because she wants to be with Wally. A neat way to make it possible for them to still protect the worlds they're on while still being able to see other, would be for Cisco to make another gate-maker like he did for Supergirl. Easy enough to spend their nights together that way...
And what is she doing just leaving her world undefended? I'm starting to see her more as only a Speedster and less as a Hero...
