If The Rock v. John Cena is going to be for the WWE Championship, and Daniel Bryan is cashing in his Money in the Bank contract against the World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania 28, what exactly is the point of this year's Royal Rumble?

Never fear, I may have spoken too soon as TripleR makes a good point.

Normally I'd be calling the same thing, but I really doubt Taker comes back. It's been said he's pretty much "officially retired" he's so broken down right now. I'd like to be wrong but I don't think we'll be seeing him at all before WM. Henry's probably being built up to go after Orton once this Christian story is over.

That's logical come to think of it, Randy is booked as the WWE's "Apex Predator" so in his current role Henry should take issue with that.

They've tried this monster heel push with Henry a couple of times before, he performs the role well but they never follow through. My bet is once he loses to Orton at Summerslam he'll then be used to put over Zeke and then go back to his jolly face gimmick.

If they continue this and give it a slow build leading to Corporate Triple H vs CM Punk for the title, and Cena vs The Rock as the Wrestlemania 28 double header, I think they could pop the biggest Mania buyrate of the modern era.
