You're doing a good job of hyping me up.Surprisingly TASM has one of my all-time favorite movie scores actually. It was my favorite part of the movie... and while I still love it beyond words, this new OST has literally made me completely forget about it.
I don't mean that as a slight or detraction from Horner's work, just only that Hans Zimmer has miraculously made me ok with them moving away from the original
Oddly enough, I think the score for TASM1 and now TASM2 are both some of the most unique film scores I've ever heard, both in their own personal ways

But I believe it. Zimmer is my favourite composer.
Are any of you guys musicians? If so, do you think any of these songs in particular would translate well to guitar/piano covers?

The only problem I have with the score is that I really liked James Horner's main Spidey motif, and I wish that was carried over here for some consistency throughout the series.
Cold War would translate great to a rock cover.
I thought ground rules kind of did that.

t:But it doesn't have the same melody that Horner's did - I'm talking about the theme that shows up in the last part of "Saving New York" and during the final swing in "Promises - End Titles."
I do like Zimmer's new theme a lot though. It has an energetic feeling to it.
