^^ I hope so. If not, then just anyone who can do just as good a job as Zimmer did and put across the right emotions in their score. Just not Horner please, his score was quite a letdown for TASM1.

James Horner had some awesome stuff in his soundtrack, wouldn't mind if it was him again, but Zimmer was good too, and is probably the best around, so I'd say they'll keep him

I'd rather have Zimmer than Horner since Zimmer's score was a nice evolution from the first ost. Hell, I would love for it to evolve just as radically further, I'm totally up for another composer

It was. I'd welcome the opportunity to hear his Spider-Man theme again. It can be played to suit different situations, and not just pure action - where it does come alive most. If JJJ and the Bugle step up a smear campaign and the public begins to turn on Spidey, in contrast to TASM2, it would be interesting to see how Hans would reflect that in the score. Or if he kept things the same, Spidey's optimism against it all.

I've always had Michael Giacchino (LOST) and Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead) in mind for potential composers of future Spidey films.
However, I'd just been thinking today and my favourite theme from a video game has to be Greg Edmonson's for the Uncharted series on PS3:

"Nate's Theme" is so grand and adventurous! 1:05 - 1:30 is my favourite part.
I know Nathan Drake and Spider-Man are different characters in different universes (though both are witty, likeable and heroic lead characters) but if Greg Edmonson could bring something as memorable and valiant-sounding to a Spider-Man score as he did with "Nate's Theme" then that would be awesome.

"Illusions" sounds awesome! It reminds me a lot of what Zimmer did for Electro with the vocals in the background and dub step/heavy synth sound in the bg of "Illusions".
Looking back on it now, I'm actually really impressed with how Electro's theme was really well written for him; kudos to Zimmer and co. on doing a great job on that.
