The Helmet of Fate

Next year a series of ongoings are going to explore the magical DCU and then settle on an all new Dr. Fate to lead to a new ongoing.

The oneshots will be:

The Helmet of Fate: Ibis the Invincible by writer/author Tad Williams (Shadowmarch) and artist Phil Winslade.
The Helmet of Fate: Detective Chimp by Shadowpact writer Bill Willingham and artist Shawn McManus, with a cover by Brian Bolland.
The Helmet of Fate: The Sorcerer by Steve Niles and Scott Hampton
The Helmet of Fate: Black Alice by Gail Simone and Duncan Rouleau.
The Helmet of Fate: Zauriel by Steve Gerber and Peter Snejbjerg.

Then a Dr. Fate ongoing in April.

Should be cool anyway. A catch-up with Zauriel is far overdue.

I'm glad someone other than Ralph will be Dr. Fate. The last thing I want to see is one of the most powerful mystics being a ******ed psycho. I hope Ralph dies and Sue laughs at him from Heaven while he burns in Hell. I'd buy a whole issue of that.

thing i hate most is that Animalman deserves his own ongoing. but they let a ****ty book like shadowpact get one.

now that ive read that article sounds like ibis is going to pass off his staff. wtf is DC getting rid of all the cool characters.
