Yeah, but which one had the longevity with the team? Power Girl or Dinah? :o
Dinah's a meta too.

I think he's planning on lynching me :wow:
The vagaries of the Mystery Method. Some guys subtly tell girls that they're fat, but attractive, this guy just lynches girls. Same thing, sort of, except not.

She can scream.

Which..I'm not downplaying..because she can shatter a mountain. But I STILL don't put it on the same level as flying/throwing punches that send Superman reeling.

Don't I remember you recently using that power as justification for Dinah being in the League or something like that?

I didn't use it as a 'justification' but I did point it out. ;)

And yes I DID use it...What..you don't reuse material?

Twy, did u buy BOP? i didnt but i looked at it in the store, you would have liked it, it was a sendoff/origin story for BC. some hot pics of her while training w/ wildcat.

I reuse tons. But in one thread, you used it to make the point that Dinah's just as powerful as anyone else, and deserves to be recognized, and in another you use it to make the point that Dinahs not as powerful as everyone else. That's all I'm really going for here. I think. I don't know, when a the subject of a conversation becomes the conversation itself, it becomes sort of pointless. Let's just forget about it.

Ya know, as hott as she is, I think I'de want to stay away from the whole "baging the **** out of Dinah" thing. She'de like...Make my head explode or something from screams of pleasure. :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

Well..if you know anything about me I don't let things go till I've had my say. :o

It's this whole 'being a female feeling ignored thing'. :oldrazz:

ANYWAY..My point I was getting at is this, in the other thread someone commented how she brought nothing that Batman couldn't bring more of. Which isn't true, she has powers *and other things..but that's besides the point* and her powers are quite notable.

HOWEVER, while her powers are powerful, they aren't as versatile as super-strength or flight in 'alphah' level situations. *Unless the alien/superstrengthed Super-Villian has ears and is effected by her frequency she puts out*

But she does have powers, and to be honest I'd love it if someone delved into them farther. Does she have finite control of it? Can she put out other frequencies? Etc..etc...mostly the villians that are around are created for head-on attacks or devious deeds al la Batman, so her powers aren't condusive for much more than breaking doors down. Something I hope to see Meltzer build upon with her in the JLA.

I think the spirit of the assertion, even if it wasn't articulated this way, was that there's nothing she brings to the table that the first-stringers don't also bring. And while the sonic scream is kind of cool, I tend to agree. When was the last time you needed to shatter a mountain? When was the last time anyone needed to shatter a mountain? The scream's a handy backup weapon, but I feel that the League gets more mileage out of the big guns.

This seems like an argument against Dinah being in the League, although this is now in the completely wrong thread for this discussion.

See, this is the mentality I don't like. I agree that Dinah should be further explored, but Justice League is not the place to do it. The JLA is supposed to be an iconic book about iconic heroes that do iconic things, without trying to challenge readers' perceptions of who the heroes are and what they do, or trying to alter who the characters are. Just ask all the b1tchers and moaners who lament Grant Morrison's supposed alterations to Batman's character that made him into what they call a "paranoid Bat-god" (translation: "cooler than anyone else's favorite character") in JLA.

Twy, just dont buy the next one or i wont like you anymore kthanxbye

Justice League International and Justice League Detroit happen to disagree with you.

So basically you want JLA to be monotonous dribble with nothing going on in it by fight scenes and god-like activity.
