I just got back from Lexington KY. As we were driving by the Fayette Mall, we had to pull over because multiple cop cars with lights and sirens on were coming from two different directions....then they all turned into the Mall's entrance....as we drove past we saw there were around 20 cop cars in there. Then as we were slowly leaving the area we were passed by a dozen more and several fire/EMT trucks. As soon as I got home I got on the net and googled it....it seems there was an active shooter in there. No more news at this point.

The news is saying that a group of teenagers entered the Mall by the foodcourt...they were fist fighting....then one pulled a gun and started shooting. No word on if anyone was hit. But they have locked down the mall and blocked traffic on one of the busiest roads in Lexington to keep everyone away.

Last time I had a day off from work was last week Wednesday and I didn't really get a full night's rest because I did stay up a little late and was woken up early by construction noises outside. My next day off is Friday and the last time I had a full night's rest was august 14th. This afternoon during work I started to feel extremely depressed and empty inside. Got home and felt like playing some video games but I really didn't have the emotion to do it or the motivation to be engaged in it. I laid back in bed and eventually fell asleep. Woke up two hours later and I felt back to normal. Turns out a lack of sleep can cause depression. No wonder Batman is always so gloomy and depressed.

Anyone else ever seen this amazing short sci-fi film (only three minutes long). It was supposed to be proof of concept for a full length movie that never ended up happening (Neill Blomkamp was supposed to be involved), but still awesome.

It reminds me of that Netflix anime where people on an sky boat have to hunt dragons to, like, eat or something.
