Are you kidding me? Producer Hurd said it herself at CC, "You wanted Hulk smash, we gave you Hulk smash" or something to that effect. They are listening to us. Hell, i wouldn't be at all surprised if a
couple of you guy are R&H employees.
If we voice out CG concerns, i'm sure word will get back to the film makers about it, so instead of putting 100% in to finish things up right, in time for the movie, they'll put 110% effort in.
Ever stop to think I'd either A) be working or B) be taking your advice then?
Listen, the film makers will here about it, and most importantly producers. Then they will use the knowledge to pander to fans whom they know will buy tickets anyway.
I hate to be a Scrooge, but it's the way it works. They don't care what we think, if they did, we'd have ol' reptilian Abomination, or non-cloud Galactus, or, Sentinels in X3.
They listened to us with Spider-man 3 though (Venom,) boy that worked out well.
I am not uber defending R&H's work, I like it, I love the style and it looks good enough for me, but I'd never try to convince anyone otherwise after all perception is way stronger than eyes. We all see the same thing and make out 8,000,000 different views from it.
I'm just saying, I really doubt they will make it photo-realistic come movie time. My guess is it will either A) look the same, or B) (At best) look the same as the car ripping scene.
Then again, this is coming from the guy who just watched Transformers today, the pinnacle of CGI movies and yet, doesn't think it looks all that real. Thus being a "all CG looks fake" kind of guy, I guess my opinion is skewed.
