I would like to see Rescue, too, though I don't look forward to the whining some fans are going to do if Pepper gets armor. One thing I don't want is for Pepper to have an arc reactor in her chest. The whole "shrapnel near the heart" thing is one of the worst bits of plot-induced stupidity ever.

Yes it was lame to have Pepper have the same affliction that Tony suffered with.

Did Pepper really have a heart problem in the comics that she had to wear armour to save her life? Not everyone who has worn armour (eg Rhodes, or even the Iron Legion in Iron Man #300) had the same problem. They just wore it because they wore it.

Pepper had a building fall on her and they were afraid she wouldn't survive the surgery so Tony put in a magnet because it was easier and she'd survive.

I wonder what the decision behind leaving so much gold was. Not that I think it's bad or anything.

Agreed. While I don't mind the inclusion of more gold into the suit to make it more balanced vs. the red, this seems to be going a bit too far. I too hope this suit grows on me but my initial reaction is one of surprise.

The torso needs more red. There's a little too much gold there for my liking (I knew there'd be more gold on the suit), I was hoping for something more along the lines of the Bleeding Edge suit.

It doesn't look like the Extremis or the Bleeding Edge armor.

It looks like a more polished version of the suitcase armor, which less red on the legs and arms.

That is an akward (over)design. Looking forward to see it in action though.
