I guess I wouldn't mind some sort of armor, if it merely serves as protection, with no weaponry attached at all. Only using the Rings to fight.

Guess we found out where War Machine was during The Avengers as Iron Man 3 prelude comic is now out.

Yup. I bought it and checked it out online....pretty short read, and not extremely informative, but it does a good job of filling in the blanks between IM2 and Avengers. I'm going to assume this is considered film canon, just as Fury's Big Week was.

That would be more reasonable. As long as it isn't a "evil" Iron Man.

I don't think they'll put Mandarin in a suit. I'm sure Marvel's heard the complaints about the previous villains (primarily Whiplash) & don't want to do stuff that everyone's sick of.

It says that LokiDionysos' post was edited... Normally edits are shorter, how long WAS that post hahaha?!?!

I can't even keep up with him anymore. Every post is a novel. LOL

they really are worth the read though. I'm confident he knows his stuff, just dilutes it though long posts. Don't sleep on his info, ya just gotta know what you're looking for.

exactly.

Nothing major, but it seems IM3 was still filming in Beijing this week. 'Dr. Wu' actor Wang Xuequi was spotted (in a video) in his surgeon uniform. Chinese actress Fan Bingbing, who was said to have a role in the movie months ago, was there also.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the post-credits scene. Anyhow, fast forward to 0:30 mark for the short video. I think someone even has an IM3 jacket on.

I'm still going with my conspiracy theories here: I think Fan Bingbing is playing Sasha Hammer, daughter of The Mandarin and Justine Hammer. I'm still convinced that Stephanie Szostak is playing Justine, and the reason for all the secrecy surrounding her role is because of the plot implications, *not* because of the currently in-vogue theory that Szostak is playing Wasp.

Szostak *looks* like Justine Hammer. Fan Bingbing *looks* like Sasha Hammer. Mandarin is the tie that binds them both to Tony Stark.

Plus, in the new IM3 tie-in/lead-in comic book Marvel just released, Hammer technology still plays a big role in the "prelude" to IM3.

Szostak looks way too young to be the mother of bingbing .... And a caucasian and Indian/middle eastern man produce an Asian offspring????

We already know mandarin's nationality was changed to not upset the Chinese gov......

That's a ridiculous theory.

O wait... I also see fing fang foom in the iron patriot reflection...... -____-

LokiD cut a lot out of that post. I'm sorry it's gone because it was very interesting. He may or may not be right in his speculation, but even if he's wrong I would watch the hell out of that movie.

The awesome (and hot) Grace Randolph put up a good video saying Stephanie Szostak might be Wasp. I'd rather see her as the scientist and not be Wasp as that for me is a terrible character.

Nobody knows Szostak's age. But she sure as hell looks fortyish to me, and I should know --- being well past the big Four Oh myself. And as for ethno-genetics ---- Sasha Hammer in the comics looks a helluva lot more Asian than comic-book Mandarin does anyway, so....yeah.

And you should try reading the IM3 prelude comic that's out right now....lots of references to Hammer in that book.

Nothing "ridiculous" about my theory. Try harder, spideyboy, and less spiteful.

This isn't the comics. This has to make sense in a movie.... Which it does not....... Spiteful? No... Just logic and sense

I'm getting my hopes up for this whole Wasp thing- I really shouldn't.

Ya, but Mandarin in this film is not asian, so where would Fan Bing-Bing get her looks from?

Fixed it for you.

Basically I find Stephanie Szostak way too young to play the mother of Sasha Hammer.

Not only that she's French so I don't think she plays the Wasp.

honestly? not to get my (or anyone elses) hopes up... but Wasp being French would easily be the most appropriate for her personality (as well as fashion influence) if they decided to ad some more world wide ethnicity to the team

I don't think Stephanie being French expels anything

I thought Feige already confirmed we won't be seeing those sort of cameos.

those wasp rumors are getting annoying.
Feige said 'No cameos', so why keep people insisting there will be cameos?
(same goes for stephen strange in thor 2)

A cameo is a small glimpse.... (hawkeye)

Black Widow was not a cameo... she had a supporting role

if you guy's want to get technical...
there's a difference between a role and a cameo
