Yeah, I'd have to say it's too long. LOL. He's not a Jedi or a Samurai or anything like that, last I recall.

The statue is awesome, though. I love the action pose there.

Harry was superb in this movie, and his arc/role in the movie was the one thing they got 100% right IMO, it also helps that James Franco gave a superb performance.

In 2 movies this year, Flyboys and Spiderman 3, i have really enjoyed both of his performances, and its a shame we wont see him in the Spiderman franhise again.

I agree completely. I still dislike that they killed him off at the end of Spidey 3, but at least the circumstances created a fitting scene for him to do so.

Franco really does a marvelous job on the character; his acting abilities are very good. Some actors tend to seem fake when delivering some lines or some scenes can seem forced, but Franco seemed a natural for the part. I enjoyed watching him as Harry, he personifies the character.

Agreed on all points, though i do think him dying by saving Peter's life was a great way to end his story, he went out in a heroic way, and i'm perfectly happy with that, even though a part of me would like to see him back.

I agree wholeheartedly to all of that. :)

Yep, he was great.

^Thy were possibly the best part of the movie, and also helped to make him one of the best and most sympathetic Spidey villains in the trilogy, as we knew he had such good in him, yet he was doing these evil things, but ultimately he chose the correct path and sacrificed himself for his friend/s.

Its possibly the most uplifting scene in the whole trilogy for me when Harry arrives at the final battle to aid Peter.

I agree completely.

I also thought the ending where they team up was very uplifting. In my humble opinion, the best part of the movie. It was such a great way to tie up all the tension that developed between Harry and Peter in his three-movie arc.

I loved how Peter and Harry teamed up in the battle royal. It really was something enjoyable to watch and Harry's death was very sad.

The team-up was kewl and emotionally great...BUT what is it with those damn stupid lines!? "just in time - a couple minutes earlier would not have been bad either" "I could use a hand - I'm a little busy right here!" (something like that) A bit lame...

Sarcastic banter among "teammates"....

I had no problem with it.

Meh I didnt see anything wrong with them. I was actually shocked they decided to use more quips, so it was a plus.

They were the least of SM3's problems.

Agreed with both of you, the whole Battle Royale is just charged with such emotion from when Harry arrives onwards. From sheer joy at seeing them team up and be the friends they were earlier in the movie and in Spiderman, to the sheer sadness of Harry's death.

It was just great to see, and it showed Harry is no slouch, taking down Sandman practically on his lonesome.

I agree, the banter seemed very natural to me and that was the best part about it.

Agreed, friends and teammates do that all the time. It adds to the enjoyment IMO.

Exactly, seeing them be natural friends and hero's at the same time, after 3 movies build up, just made the final battle all the more emotional for me.

The actors really dont get enough credit for how natural they seemed as friends.

True. And that left Peter to take care of Venom, who's a handful all on his own. A part of me would have loved to see that kind of teamup again in latter films, but eh, Harry's death was a honorable one so I'm not complaining.

Agreed. Though, I think being able to get along off-stage is a big part of it too. Raimi's casting for Spider-Man was alot about the chemistry and I think that really translated well onscreen.

It was enjoyable. I liked that dynamic between Peter and Harry, it was a fresh change from all the tension in previous movies. It's not really something worth nitpicking at.

Agreed, seeing Harry go from good to being depressed and unhappy because of his fathers death and to make it worse, Harry found out Peter was Spider-Man. Then having Harry firgive Peter just brought a very happy smile to my face. They have been through good and bad times, but in the end stay friends.
