The Job Thread

I'll start things off...

I'm a cook by trade. I mainly do catering jobs (from standard parties to high society galas), but I just got hired on at a local hotel. I've done line work in restaurants, and got into the profession a few years back. Went to a culinary program at a technical school last year to learn more and hone my skills, and graduated earlier this year.
Out of the restaurant business and catering, I've got to say catering is my favorite. Looking forward to taking my first step into hotel kitchens, which I've heard is a completely different animal.

How do you type and cook at the same time?? :wow:

**Sticky Keyboard :o**

I've just been hired as a sales rep for the highest-quality kitchenware company in the world. I can get up to 50% commission as I sell more stuff. I start in September. Should be pretty awesome.

porn?

...it's not that rare anymore. :down

No im looking for something with more clothing requirements. I dont know really i can't think of a particular one but perhaps something to do with creative/internet area or entertainment. I can't help but be vague

I don't get paid by commission.

I wouldn't want to either

I just don't like the "salesman schtick" that some people lay on so heavy.

I just want a person who's well-learned and informative, without trying to squeeze every penny out of me.

Pretty much what I do. At the end of the day, whether I sell 1 chair or 10, it's not like I'm getting extra money, but there's no need to be a dick.
