So someone probably already beat me to saying this, but how much y'all wanna bet this is our boi Bruce ??

It's the actor cast as Bruce, so yes.

Dude, you’ve said countless times you’re never going to watch it. Why even bother watching the trailer then commenting you dislike it? You’re free to voice your opinion, but you’ve done that and it’s not contributing one way or the other. Glutton for punishment?

Why is repeating a negative opinion "not contributing", but repeating a positive opinion is?

So, one thing that really stands out in this trailer, to me, which I feel is weird and possibly worrisome: at no point in it is the Joker actually doing anything bad. At least, such as you can clearly tell. Without knowing who the character is supposed to be, would you even recognize he's supposed to be a villain at all?

Umm, you know this is an Elseworlds movie right?

Nope, because it is not. For a movie to be an "Elseworlds", Elseworlds would first have to be established as an actual thing in movies. Then they would need to establish an actual main continuity of movies to diverge from. Then they'd have to declare that this given movie actually is an Elseworlds.

None of those things is true, except perhaps that middle one, arguably. A movie does not magically become "Elseworlds" just because its made by a director who isn't trying to fit into any other movie's continuity.

It’s most likely Joker. Some do have a completed script and not many good things said about it.

And people thought this was gonna be good.

Didn't they rewrite a lot of the script during filming? Maybe that will save the movie...

Well, we don't even know if that tweet is directed at The Joker, but seeing the timing of it all, it seems to be. But again, we don't know for sure.

But the first trailer for Godzilla has been out for months.

The only other films I can think of is Terminator: Dark Fate or Knives Out as the guy described the trailers for those! However, I think he's referring to this!

If it's Joker, this sucks! :csad::csad:

Why it's "most likely Joker", when Scott Wampler saw and liked many first trailers at Cinemacon several days ago: 21 Bridges, My Spy, The Gentlemen, Secret Garden, The Good Liar, Motherless Brooklyn, It: Chapter Two, Queen and Slim, Ford vs Ferrari, Rocketman, Crawl, Terminator: Dark Fate, Sonic the Hedgehog and Knives Out. This tweet could be about any of them.

He confirmed that it's not about IT 2 but yeah, I hate these vague tweets. Just name the damn film or don't tweet it at all.

Could be referring to Midsommar, but who really cares.

I don't think it's going to be as black and white as him being a villain. If you look at characters like Travis Bickle, and Rupert Pupkin, those were sick, isolated men who lived on the outskirts of society, yet the movies were told from their perspective.

Actually, it makes me wonder if the Joker might end up being the Batman of his own story? Someone who is a vigilante in a costume who is seen as a hero to a certain section of Gotham.

The main continuity is the current DCEU. Joker does not take place in this continuity, so yes, it can be considered an Elsewords movie in that sense.
