Hot dog! You should be Leto's chief adviser on all things DC-related. I mean it'd be a dubious honour and you'd probably want to keep it off your resume, but still.Scratch that. It's a long shot, but...Joker's Five Way Revenge???????
I'm not sure if I really have a favorite. I really like the more traditional permawhite Joker like in the comics and Arkham games (video games in general). I think Ledger and Phoenix both gave the best performances overall, but I'm not sure who gave the best Joker performance.Hot dog! You should be Leto's chief adviser on all things DC-related. Andy you're probably the biggest Joker fan here and yet I don't recall you ever mentioning your favourite.
It's Ledger, right?
Maybe just comic Joker in general??I was just trying to think of a comics Joker who shares the Nicholson Joker's very pronounced interest in art. I'm drawing a blank though.
Eh, he seemed to have a grandiose sense of narcissism before Nicholson. I feel like that countsA pronounced interest in art and seeing himself as a great artist?I don't recall that characterisation ever being the norm. Certainly not prior to Nicholson.
Pretty confident that is exclusive to Nicholson. Joker developing weird, super specific fixations like in The Laughing Fish is the closest I can think of.Maybe just comic Joker in general??
I keep imagining a scene where he tortures one lone survivor of one of his attacks, singing and dancing to 80s music
It's in-character?? I also feel like it would establish him as an especially sadistic iteration. Closest to the comics in terms of the gleeful evilness. Why?
And Batman #1Ledger's Joker in M.O. is a lot like the comic Joker in The Man Who Laughs.
He kinda reminds me of the Soft Targets Joker too.And Batman #1
I really like these concepts. This girl is very talented. Joker wearing these colors really works too.
It seems to me she's influenced by Sean Gordon Murphy, Greg Capullo and Otto Schmidt. And I love how it looks. I hope she makes it to the industry one day because damn do I wanna read a comic in that artstyle.Oh, I LOVE that Joker design. This is pretty much what I have in mind in terms of design; something clean and almost Bowie-esque.
This whole art style could easily work in a comic too. The grittiness kinda reminds me of Capullo for some reason.
The Red Hood gang in the New 52 had that same kind of design. The Red Hood design is great.
I've had the vision in my head of a more sort of... Dare I say it... Slenderman-esque? Red Hood look for a while now and that is definitely in line with it
I like the colors on Joker's jacket collar too. Just kinda wish it was just a color pattern and not written "HA HA" s. Seems a bit much and going into Riddler territory .
