The Joker Thread - Part 1

Damn I wish Michael Pitt wasn’t an uninsurable *******
I feel like his face is too round for Joker. I don't really like his look for the character in general.

I got someone from here to do this up for me long ago. Can't remember who tho

If not Michael Pitt there’s always Joe Anderson. I really like him, too bad he’s kinda low level.

He played a pretty great Mason after Pitt. Kinda polar opposites. Pitt was all over the place in the role while Anderson conveyed so much just through his eyes alone.

I wouldn't mind him for John Constantine either

Michael Pitt is a great choice. He’s Gyllenhaal’s age. If he can lose a bit of weight for the role he’d be a great 30 somethin Joker.

I've heard first hand from a friend I definitely trust that Michael Pitt is indeed an a$$ to work with so I wouldn't want him anywhere near a franchise.

If he weren't already playing Steve Trevor...I think Chris Pine would be a great choice. He's got the build for Joker and he can play crazy without seeming over the top cheesy.

I was wondering about that, was he booted from Hannibal or just didn't want to continue playing Mason Verger?

Oh it wasn't on the Hannibal set so I don't know what happened there. My friend worked with him before Hannibal and when I brought him up in conversation one night, she was quick to be like "man that guy is such a ****."

Ha, nah we can't afford to have someone pissing off Matt Reeves on set, refusing direction and showing up late. Reeves has already had to deal with a lot of shuffling around already.

I remember Bryan Fuller saying a few years ago Pitt was actually great working with, but I’ve wondered if he was lying. Most don’t like working with him as mentioned.

Ya never know. He could be telling the truth but it’s such a part of the promotion process they all have to tout each other.

Ray Fisher saying Zack picked great guy Whedon to come on and finish the JL should get an Oscar for that performance.

I figured you'd eat this look right up since it's super Endgame Dark Knight Returns something something yadda yadda :oldrazz:

The whole facial structure and everything has to work for me if you're gonna go THERE buddy boy (Endgame mainly). But the suit and hairstyle themselves could be cool for Joker.

Is he really a prick or is that just Hollywood phonies calling him difficult because he doesn’t take **** from ppl? I’m not saying he’s not the A-hole, but Hollywood has a history with making actors look like they’re the pricks in a situation.

If he has a reputation behind the scenes, he won’t be getting the job anyway. But if he was announced, I’d be into it. Jake is the only actor around that age that I can see playing this role because of his skills and stardom. Otherwise it’s probably a late 20’s or early 30’s actor who can grow with the trilogy over the next several years right alongside Pattinson.

Nothing about Chris Pine physically reminds me of The Joker.

Really? He's tall, lean, but still got some muscle to go up against Batman. Unless you mean his facial expression. Just caught him on Horrible Bosses 2 and like Bradley Cooper, who I also think would be great, has a natural menacing laugh. I think he'd be more like Jack Nicholson who didn't have to put on a voice (or tattoos) to appear more naturally Joker-ish.

I was more coming from his facial structure and everything. Funnily enough, he looks like Chris Hemsworth's twin.
