Jared Leto ‘Would Definitely’ Play the Joker Again

Jared Leto may not be done with playing the Joker. The Oscar winner says he’s open to revisiting the deranged supervillain he played in “Suicide Squad.”

“I would definitely play the Joker again,” Leto says. “It all depends on the script and the circumstances as it always does.”

But maybe he already has. Asked if the rumors are true that he makes an appearance as the Joker in the upcoming Harley Quinn stand-alone movie “Birds of Prey,” Leto said, “I don’t think so. You’d have to ask them.”

But then he added, “Well, we’ll see.”

Would be open for it, but it comes down to reeves approach to batman.
If that universe has a style etc that imo feels like a completely new joker is needed then no.
But in general im open for giving leto a second chance with a better script and direction.

Leto wants to come back. WB doesn't want him back. James Gunn called him a pedophile a few years ago, and he's probably the new architect for their Suicide Squad films now.

While I think CLJ could be a great Joker, I also think he could be a fantastic fit for Cletus Kasady/Carnage, more specifically in the MCU if it ever happens.

How about Bill Skarsgard for Joker then...I mean he makes a great Pennywise so I have no doubt that he could play Joker or how about Pattinson for Joker instead?

Yeah I was about to ask just who will play Joker now to Pattinson's Batman especially if they have gone with a young Batman like Pattinson? Then I think I will stay with Skarsgard well Pennywise himself to play the new Joker

I definitely want joker to be saved for a sequel.
There needs to be some space between whatever we could possibly get from these movies and the Joaquin Phoenix movie.

He should be hinted at though I think.
Him and Batman should have a history.

I hope they don't use him even in the sequel. Is it going to be Catwoman and Joker over and over again? It's time to expand in a different direction. Penguin is a good start. Freeze, Ivy, even more obscure for GA like Mad Hatter and other...

I mentioned this in the Matt Reeves thread, but I feel Joker could be one of the next villains rumoured to appear. Catwoman, Penguin, and Riddler have been said to appear.

Hope I'm wrong as it would be way too soon to see a new incarnation after Joaquin Phoenix!
