The Joker Thread - Part 1

10-15 years from now they could just get Bill Hader for a TDKR adaptation. He even looks super similar to that version anyways.

Assuming we don't largely get that in Reeves' universe, of course.

Two days ago marked one year since I saw 'Joker' in theaters.

What about Hugh Dancy? If I remember correctly, he was rumored for Joker before Ledger’s casting—Nolan miight have even confirmed this?

This feels either like a song he'd sing to Batman just to screw with him or something he'd sing along to while slowly killing someone

And, ironically, Leto might be the closest thing we have to a Gwynplaine-esque Joker physically. I guess Nicholson counts too, with the hair and the permanent smile, but the smile was very stylized, for lack of a better term. Leto's grin was very stretched-out though with the metal caps, oddly enough.

You know, Andy, there are times when it seems like you're just talking to yourself....

There are?!!

In all honesty, I just do that to make some of my posts seem less cluttered and incoherent. When I try to elaborate in the same post, it actually looks more like a ramble to me than what I posted a few minutes ago.

Would you guys want his hair to have a green tint along with the bleached skin, do you want it to be dyed green, or both?

I've been leaning towards the first option.

Kinda wanted him for Riddler but that's out the window.

I ****ing love the guy lol. I wouldn't exactly throw a fit. It'd feel like a missed opportunity tho if out of all the Hannibal actors who'd be great for it (Pitt, Anderson, Tucker) he ends up with it instead. Almost feels wrong lol

If by dyed you mean he dyes it purposely then no. I'd rather have it be a result of the chemicals, if you mean dye like a deep emerald green then I'd prefer it to be on the lighter side, whichever contrasts better with the skin tone.

Yeah, I meant that he dyes his already slightly-green hair to make it pop out more.

But it might just have a slightly green tint to make it look natural.

Then yeah, no dyeing it. I know a few people dont like it for being too bright but Letos hair color was perfect to me.

I liked the striking neon hair too. It's just that this universe might be slightly more realistic, so I imagine a pale, practically chalk-white skin tone with dark green hair.

Just re-finished TLH and love Joker’s simple, classic look there: dark purple-blue/indigo pants and vest, lighter purple jacket, and light green shirt with a deep green tie matching the curled hair.

Specifically this shot. And I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but that classic look with any wild accessories matching the scene is what I like in a Joker. Joker stealing the plane in TLH is a prime example. He had his hat and scarf on. Lol

The cartoonishly yellow teeth/massive mouth are a little much though. Lol

Imagine if Reeves doesn't use Joker (impossible ik) and we're Just speculating for nothing the next ten years
