Okay now look. I'm all for personal preference and fancasting, but there are some names that just keep coming up that don't need to keep coming up lol.

I think we will have far better choices/suggestions once we just get rid of some of these names.

Regan
Ritchson
Esposito
Eion

...oh and this was sort of a joke, but i could careless if you guys get my humor or not LOL. I'm not bragging.

Have you guys seen an episode past season 1. He is nothing but a beer swigging womanizing rugged mans man. With, facial hair. And if you go to cw and watch the latest episode (if you can stomach Padelcki's wierd facial expressions) you will see a tormented soul with lots of depth and conciction in his acting. The Ackleites lol are not suggesting him becasue we are just fans. He is a very convincing actor. Him and Misha Collins on the show.

I have seen more episodes of supernatural than I care to mention (though my fiancée loves the show). I would rather stare into a deep hole for 30 minutes than watch him "act"

i love jensen and think he is such a great actor but i get more of a hal jordan vibe since he has more of a rugged blue collar mans man look

Say can we quantify why we don't want a particular actor for the role they are being fan cast as?

Let me start. Jensen Ackles for Batman.
Pro: He does have the voice. Aaand that's all I got.

Con: He doesn't have the traditional look of a Bruce Wayne, then again neither did Val Kilmer. We've only seen him play one character for the past 8? years, which really doesn't give us any indication of his acting range. Star power: He has his fans but it really doesn't mean squat in this situation. Physical presence? I haven't seen him stand out in his show, then again that could be done in a number of ways. Can he carry a solo movie? Don't think he has the star power to. Then again we had Bruce Willis and George Clooney transition amazingly!

All in all I don't see it. Then again that's my opinion.

In regards to Katharine McPhee.

Pro: I really like her look, Her acting is good, not awards worthy, but passable. I think it might be the amount of experience which she still lacks.

Con: She looks to soft for the part. Maybe just a little too young? My biggest qualm about her is she does not look menacing. WW is supposed to be a force to be reckoned with. I haven't seen that in McPhee. I've only seen her pissed off or annoyed. When WW draws her sword, the reaction people should have to that is they slowly back away. But I think if I saw McPhee draw a sword, my reaction would be is to snicker. Also I don't think she can carry a solo movie.

Again just my reasons I don't see these two in those roles. I can certainly be 100% wrong on everything, which means so can anyone! Unless your a casting agent!t:

Now, I'm not bragging woot but I really did suggest Ory to begin with... That was, I must confess, based purely on looks but since then I've seen her in OUAT and, to me, she just comes across as a liability in some scenes and that is unacceptable. So, it's a no from me.

I don't mind your suggestion for WW, as I suggested her months ago....again no bragging t:. However, Witwer has been mentioned to death and is as common here as Jensen, Gosling and Gyllenhaal. No Witwer, he's not leaving tv for awhile and sure not making the jump to Batman. Maybe Nightwing, maybe Jason Todd, but not Bruce!

Colin isn't a bad actor, but there is no way that he would be Superman, unless you don't mind a Will Wheaton/Sheldon Cooper look a like playing the man of steel lol

I remember being okay with the idea of Colin Hanks as Superman when MOS hadn't cast Cavill yet, but Cavill is a million times better than the Hanks idea...I could get behind it though. he'd have to bulk up a LOT. But they could play up the nice guy aspect and he'd do well
