I don't think it gets any more official than those images when it comes to Warner Bros saying that Superman isn't a member of this group.

Would you like to be spoiled on how and when Superman would return in said trailer, thus ruining any kind of experience you might get from it in the theater?

Everyone here knows that he will be back for the final battle and NO ONE asked for them to show on how he comes back. People just want to see at least one shot of Superman in action. Dozens of films have done this for characters that were considered as special attractions for their respective film's (i.e. Darth Vader for Rogue One) where he was at least shown in the trailers and it still didn't ruin the film for people.

I don't know why people are suddenly making a big deal about it for superman.

So far my impression of the marketing has been that it's more or less following the model used to promote Wonder Woman. Basically they release several posters, most of which have vivid color, leading up to a trailer release.

The launch of the month of marketing kicks off with an SNL hosting gig and talk show appearance by one of the movie's stars, which was Chris Pine last time, and this time it's Gal Gadot:

I'm quite pleased with it all so far, but selfishly as a Lois fan I would love to see a new glimpse of her in the new trailer. Martha and Mera too, please. I'd understand if it needed to focus on other things, though. So I won't be too disappointed, but it would definitely make me happy.

Very few people will complain about fights in heavily-populated areas if the heroes show actual concern for the civilians.

Very few people will complain about fights in heavily-populated areas if the heroes show actual concern for the civilians.

Doesn't one show concern for civilians by trying to stop the thing that is the source of the damage? Especially if one has to tackle such a major threat all by oneself? Besides, as an example, despite all of the concern shown for civilians in Age of Ultron, the heroes were apparently still careless enough to produce casualties like Zemo's family, causing his vengeful actions in Civil War. Heroes do the best they can.

But, anyway, I don't care to debate this anymore. I can tell that it's tiresome both for others here and for myself. Maybe take this to the MoS thread, if anyone wishes to continue.

Yeah, SNL is often very cringeworthy; it occasionally will do something clever or amazing. And while I don't think its ratings are what they used to be, it's a good place for Gadot to promote JL.
