Damn did you guys see that Superman vs Flash featurette? They chopped up that fight too. It was probably going to be so epic... In the movie we got, it's just a cool little moment... Under Zack it was likely going to be a full action set piece.

That is well known. :(

What we saw in the featurette was an extra 2 or 3 seconds but there was probably more. Why cut those 2 extra seconds? Who was the editor on this movie and what were his directives? "Make sure it's as forgettable, generic and unimpressive as possible so people will mistake it for an MCU movie"?

Ugh...after seeing those featurette's, I'm pretty convinced they chopped up a lot of the action for this movie. At first I was somewhat skeptical of that "warehouse 2.0" scene that was apparently in the movie.... but now, I don't know...

I really want the full cut :( this whomps.

I doubt they'd cut out lengthy action sequences. WBs revisions to Snyder's cut were nearly all story and character related, something which action would rarely have to do with.

I'm sure there's bit and pieces on the cutting room floor, but nothing full of spectacle.

So you think Zack made a movie where Batman did almost no hand-to-hand fighting? And the scene where he engages the parademon was meant to segue into him laying on the ground, being overpowered, with no prior significant fight taking place?

We already know a big set piece between Atlantians and parademons was cut. That was confirmed. We know Wonder Woman's scene in Old Bailey was cut down. We know Flash and Cyborg took on parademons in the tunnel fight, simply based on the trailers.

It all depends on your definition of "lengthy". I think 20 to 50 seconds of action is lengthy by action scene standards.

Wow. Just wow.

TBH I was very unimpressed by the WW fight sequence. And it wasnt just the trash music, the fight choreography didnt have the oomph Snyder's fights usually have either. So I was surprised and disappointed, and was wondering if he kinda lost his touch there a bit.

**** no. That stunt rehearsal looked ****ing awesome, and with the proper WW theme, would have been 100x better than the film. Shouldn't have doubted Zack.

Absolutely. So far cut action scenes we know :

-Atlanteans vs Parademons
-Extended Tunnel Fight
-Extended League vs Superman fight
-Almost entire Final fight

The only fight scene that remained quite close to Zack's intentions were the Themyscera invasion, and that was the best action scene.

Not to mention that Superman vs the league was supposed to be more public and feature a cameo by Jimmy Olsen from the movies. Also was supposed to have Cyborg save the cops.

I just watched the Heroes Park featurette. What are you guys referring to that was cut from the Flash/Supes altercation? Every BTS shot there was featured in the final film.

Its baffling because literally anyone can tell you the deleted stuff was better, its objectively better. Surely the people at the cutting room knew. Its like as if they deliberately f-ed it up. And now they are teasing all we could have had as a huge FU.

I just watched it once, but I notice the military was involved. They were firing bullets, and Flash dodged a bullet on his way to fight Superman. Also Supes probably threw that military tank at the police, which Cyborg saved with the "You should probably move" dialogue. So probably a min or more of content was cut.

The thing with these fight scenes are, if you cut stuff, it destroys the whole rhythm of it and loses that edge. Nvm its becomes even worse when you lay Elfman's JL tracks over it.

That's a no brainer why do you think all the promotion for this movie is all Snyder's stuff and stuff that we'll never see.

Yeah I don't get it either.

In the movie, they cut the opening segment of the Flash slow-mo dodging scene. In the featurette we see Clark lunge at him, trying to elbow him and grabbing one of the stone slabs, breaking it. Like I said, it was just 2 or 3 seconds but WHY CUT IT?

I feel like General Zod when he's holding that handful of dust and letting it fall out of his hand.

"Look at this. We could have built the perfect Justice League movie... But you chose the critics and bloggers over us"

The whole thing is sad and frustrating at same time. WB not only sabotaged their own movie and gave Zack a raw deal but they are trolling fans of DCEU as well.

It's like they are saying we don't care about Zack Snyder, the movie (JL) or the fans who supported DCEU movies till now.

As long as they (WB) have general audiences by their side (doubtful about that, look at JL's Box Office collections) and as long as fans who love MCU movies appreciate the new 'safe' approach (only few do.)

I suppose WB wants me to stop watching their DC movies and stop buying the Blurays, because that's what all this points to.

Right now, it seems as if I'm not their target audience, they are after the people who like movies like Doctor Strange, GoTG and Thor Ragnarok.

Not a bad strategy.

I actually loved that part, one of my favorite in the movie, particularly when Diana stops the bullets from hitting the hostages (that was pure Snyder hnnnnghhh :hmr:) but I agree that what we could've had, from what we're seeing here, could have been much more impressive.

I always thought that Snyder was gonna amp up his game action wise even more with this movie, and from the looks of it, it could've been the case... :csad:

What he said.

There's a bit when Clark does a little vertical "flying" while trying to elbow Barry, that was awesome! But of course they cut it...:cmad:

Not a bad one. A terrible one. Alienate your core consumer base and your business will crash and burn 10 times out of 10.

Found this on twitter.

Fans: And who will decide which films get reshot @wbpictures ? You?

You abandoned the principles that bound us together. You've taken up the sword against your own people. I will honor the studio you once were, not this monster you’ve become.
