Guardians of the Galaxy The Karen Gillan/Nebula Thread

I suspect she'll end up killing Thanos, but probably not in an obvious way - maybe she'll sacrifice herself to take him out.

In this story, it makes more sense for her to want to kill Thanos than Drax, so I could see her being the reason the Guardians get in touch with the Avengers.

ETA: If not the Drax role, certainly she'll have a lot of the elements of Moondragon.

If she steals the IG from Thanos like in the comics, I wonder if we'll see a blue Karen Gillan without the cybernetics.

This is what I'm thinking will happen. I don't think she'll kill Thanos or that he'll die at all by the end of all of this (I could be wrong) but I think we'll at least see this.

With Adam Warlock coming into the MCU we need to keep Thanos. Those two have so much material that needs to happen.

Exactly. There a plethora of stories than can be told involving the two and it'd be an utter waste to kill off Thanos before we get to them.

Truthfully, with as highly as Feige thinks of Thanos, I can't imagine he'd want an ending intact where he's killed off. That'd be leaving a lot of money on the table. Thanos has fiercely infiltrated popular culture over the last few years.

We can only Feige thinks as highly of Thanos as we do.

True. But I only say that because of the surge in his popularity over the years. And Disney is all about the money. So with that said and with Feige wanting to treat Thanos as the special big bad that he is, I can see them keeping him alive.

Or, even if they kill him, this could be the one instance where, down the road, they'd be inclined to bring the character back.
