They haven't released an extended version yet with the extra scenes. Vaughn said because the film was independently financed, that he considers this version the director's cut. He wants people to see this version first as he intended. I imagine if they do release an extended cut it will be after he is done with his X-Men film. The blu-ray version of this Kick-Ass is loaded with extras and worth picking up though.

the extras on kick-ass are great...the behind the comics leans more towards the art and coloring of the comic...but the behind the movie is pretty great and has great interviews...no deleted scenes cause of what astrodust said...but dang the extras were still good!
and the movie is amazing still.....so still a 9.5/10

It sounds like he is game for Kick-Ass 2 if they sell a decent amount of dvds. I'm thinking if they can sell 3 million+ dvds they would be willing to make a sequel. 5 million would guarantee it I think.

I bought the bluray first thing this morning. Finished watching the extras, they were awesome. There was one behind-the-camera deleted scene where Hit-Girl told Big Daddy that she had to use the bathroom lol.. it looked like it happened before the Rasul scene.
