I listened to the KA soundtrack this week. I usually hate VA albums (unless they're playlists made by people who know what they're doing), especially if they're movie tie-ins.

But it was pretty solid work. Good job. :up

My favorite tracks are the ones used for comic relief in the film and really add to the film and are fun listens:

Banana Splits
Stand Up
For a Few Dollars More Morricone music
Elvis's hopelessly cheesy 'An American Trilogy.'

But among the more pop-ish tracks I enjoyed:

Kick-Ass
Make Me Wanna Die
Bad Reputation
and...Starry Eyed (sue me )

Surprisingly solid VA album! Good job.

I quite like that song too

yes, the disussion is relevant...to the x-men boards. there wasn't even any talk of it in relation to his work on kick-ass, it was all 'fox sucks, x-men is not going to be good.' and those arguments go on for ages round here.
kickass has one thread, this discussion was not about ka, and had went on over the course of two days, so do the math bud.

if they're smart and want some extra promotion and want to make extra loot (because you know damn well they'll sell like hot cakes in October), they'll do just that. Release BD, HG, and KA costumes

Those Watchmen ones were sooooo terrible though. Apart from the Rorschach one. But that is just a trench coat and a mask. The Comedian one has gotta be like, the worst costume ever made.

on reelzchannel they said Kick-Ass 2 Balls to the Wall was announced today? which I do not believe...but if true...I dont like the name...sounds just like marketing for the movie

miller has said that this is the title for the comicbook sequel, yeah, it's not a great title really, short and brutal, so it fits, but pretty generic.
i would've went with a breakdance 2: 'electricboogaloo' type rhymer..

I personally wouldn't go with any sort of complex title like that, perhaps for the comic, but the movie should have more simplicity; short and sweet.
