Went & bought Kick-Ass on Blu Ray yesterday in a giant collectors box set. It comes in what looks like a giant shoe box but with Kick-Ass art all over it & when you open it up it's got the 2008 shooting script, the full issue graphic novel, a Kick-Ass T Shirt & a one sheet with an introduction by Mark Millar. plus the Blu Ray obviously. It's as Kick-Ass said himself in the mirror, "******* AWESOME!". $80 well spent.

I think it may be. I didn't know we ( Australia ) would be releasing this giant box set with collectors T Shirt & what not, so long before It came out on Blu Ray I looked online for the best editions I could buy & came across one similar to the one I bought, from Amazon UK. Here's the link:

Their both vastly different from each other with the exception of both having the Graphic Novel. Mine has interchangable covers for the Blu Ray. I can choose between Kick-Ass, Hit Girl, Big daddy & Red Mist, the UK version doesn't. But it does have equally as awesome stuff. Either way I've heard nothing about a similar release for the US.

I hope so to. It would be nice for everyone to have it so we can all talk about it. I mean you could I spose buy that set from Amazon.UK. Keep all the collectors stuff & then just buy Kick-Ass from your local store & replace the UK version with yours & sell that back to english buyers for a hefty price on Amazon

The image I want is actually the exact thumbnail they use on the Bluray for Scene 11 titled "Hit Girl." It features Hit Girl frozen in badassery as she walks to the camera right before she shoots it. She looks like a total action hero in that image and I'd love to get a Hi Res of it from those of you who know how to find it.

Unless someone has posted a compelte screencap library, the best way would be to rip the shot from the DVD and make it into a JPEG. Unfortunately, I can't find the time to do such a thing at the moment as I need to troubleshoot some of my software. If you still need it sometime down the road I might be able to get it for you.

By the way, VVS, I like your location. I'll just put it into the GPS.

I didn't find out about the comic until I heard about the movie, but at the time I was in limbo on my comic collecting, so perhaps things could have been different.

The first time I heard of Kick-Ass was when the costumes/posters where posted on SHH's main page. I'm not much on actually reading comics, but I did purchase Kick-Ass to read after the movie, to support the cause

If it makes you feel better, I've seen it about 10 times since I bought it...

I haven't seen it as much as you but I have watched the last 40 minutes about 20 times. I skip to the internet feed scene called "Hit Girl" cause it's so epic, and I usually end up watching till the end of the movie. Seriously, if you start at the scene you will probably watch till the end cause the action is non stop at that point.
