The Lizard in Spider-Man 3?! (Possible Spoilers)

Normally I don't make topics on this board or any other, but I felt this may be of some imperative significance:

If you look on the bottom of this package, it depicts the Lizard. Considering that we haven't seen any other villains plastered on packaging, anyone else think that this may be a sign of a surprise ending to the film?

I'm not gonna lie, that is very very interesting. It very well could be a surprise ending. I doubt it but that does hint at the Lizard coming either in '3' or '4'.

I think he is in the Video game as well. But good find! And interesting new topic to discuss.

agreed, however, I think we will see something or have an indication of Lizard, like maybe seeing Connors working on something or see a lizard in his lab or something, like in the first spiderman, when they mentioned that they had "Eddie" on it (getting pics of spidey).

Well we already knew there was going to be a Lizard toy from that list karea07 posted. There doing what Ghost Rider is doing, making updated versions of characters that are not even appearing in the movie. I think that for the rest of the villains are going to look how they looked in the games.

Here's a list of all the movie figures... no MJ, Gwen, or Harry unmasked.

I think its just a marketing ploy. I doubt there any room in this movie for Dr. Conners.

Dr. Conners helps Spidey in this movie -- probably with the symbiote -- so we may see some sign of his tests in his lab.

they're just cashing in on the fact dr. connors is in the movie. lizard will not be making an appearance.

As the more sensible people have already pointed out, its just a marketing ploy. Some of you guys are so desperate for news and info, your taking the most blatantly obvious and turning it into an unecessary article for speculation.
The Lizard wont be in sm3. Hell, just take a look at the sm3 game, Just because its titled spider-man 3, do you honestly think villains like scorpion and carlyle are going to show up as a surprise twist at the end of the movie? Some of you are too deep in the forest to see the cot damn trees.

Sorry guys to burst the bubble. But they are making multiple non SP3 villians with this line. Including Scorpion,Kraven, Rhino, re-releases of Green Goblin, etc.

I'm guessing it is because they want to release non-movie villian action figures of this line because this is the third movie and they need to advertise it. thats basically what it is because we all know the hobgoblin, the lizard, Kraven, etc. are not in this film.

You know what i was thinking?? remember a while back avi said that there were 4 villains and that they might reveal something at comic con and the madness will begin? i always thought that they were lyin when they said the symbiote is the 4th villain, think about it, he said that they might reveal something at comic con, by then we already knew the symbiote was in the movie. i belive they were gonna show the lizard as the 4th villain and then decided to keep it a secret.. what do you all think??

I don't think that the Lizard will appear simply because green goblin is not in 3either. By the way that lizard figure looks like Godzilla in a lab coat and purple pants.

After seeing the Rino figure I wouldn't mind him making an appearance in number 4.
