*sigh* You missed where DC Comics and Superman are my fave, Wonder Woman was my favorite CBM of the year, TDK remains the GOAT in my estimation and I'm completely optimistic about DC's post-JL future? I complain about Snyder, as I have since before the DCEU existed. Because *gasp* I just don't like the guy's storytelling sensibilities, simple as that. And I sure as hell don't praise all things Marvel. Doctor Strange and Ant-Man were bland and forgettable as hell, the 1st Guardians is highly overrated to me and I only liked half the Phase 1 films, there's not a single Marvel character that I believe holds a candle to DC's greats and oh yeah, I've never cared about a Thor movie. Ragnarok now has my interest due to Taika Waititi, as I've seen 2 of his films and loved them both to death. I just call it as I see it, regardless of which brand it is. I never understand people stanning for (or raging against) studio brands like sports teams. Studios don't make the movies, people do.

Actually my comment was that the complainers were focusing on Ragnarok because they can't direct their usual complaints at Star Wars.

And where was the lie?

Every time I see Rian Johnson's name, I want to pronounce it Ree-ann. Even though it's spelled like my name, just with a letter dropped. I may be functionally illiterate.

Yes, it is a specific group I'm referring to. But they are loud and consistent. It's certainly not everyone who has a beef with Ragnarok or its tone.
