BvS THE MAN OF STEEL title for sequel??

I don't love Batman vs Superman. Unless that's what the entire movie is about.

Superman/Batman is cooler. Or y'know Superman - Batman or obviously Batman - Superman It's simple. And straight to the point. Plus it gets them both off the 'nickname' hitch and back to their roots.

Otherwise yeah, World's Finest is tried and true.

Batman Vs Superman or Superman Vs Batman.

Thing is, Warner already owns BatmanvsSupermanmovie.com but not supermanvsbatmanmovie.com

Goyer let it slip that it would be either Batman vs Superman or Superman vs Batman as the title.

I don't like it. I think it should clearly be "The last son of Krypton" and play off that with the third being the Man of Tomorrow. I can't see how that's not how they are going but ...

I'm not wild about Batman vs. Superman. It reminds me of Freddy vs. Jason or Alien vs. Predator.

Agreed... Stupid title with vs... Best if they want both name in the ticket will just be Superman & Batman or Superman/Batman. Simple and gets to the point....

We all know how bad the Freddy vs. Jason or Alien vs. Predator movies are...

World's Finest seems most likely to me. Only thing that makes me think otherwise is that they will want to use the Batman name to attract the average movie goer.

Just because they've registered domain names that feature some variation on the 'batman vs. superman' phrase doesn't mean that said phrase will actually be the title of the film.

You obviously didn't read the article.

^ Actually, I did read the article, and my response to that is exactly the same as what I posted above: just because Goyer says that they're eyeing some variation of Batman vs. Superman for the film's title doesn't mean that the title can't or won't be changed by the time it reaches theaters.

Yeah, I didn't take Goyer's comment to mean that either BVS or SVB was definitely going to be the title.

Exactly, I hope they think of something far more interesting.

As an addendum to what I said above: the film's narrative can still be driven by a confrontation between the two superheroes even without the title involving the phrase 'Batman vs. Superman' or some variation thereof.

Of course. That isn't what you initially said though; it'd be silly to just go off domain names. Goyer's statement does give a bit of legitimacy.

I only initially commented on the domain name thing because that's the most recent thing I saw others talking about with regards to the possibility of the film being called 'Batman vs. Superman' or 'Superman vs. Batman'.

It's no big deal, though. :)

Get rid of vs and go with the following:

Man of Steel: Superman & Batman
Man of Steel: Superman/Batman
Man of Steel: World Finest
Man of Steel: The Dark Knight
Man of Steel: The Batman

I think there's next to zero chance that "Batman vs. Superman" or any derivation thereof or that "Man of Steel" is included in the title.

0 chance? Goyer just came out with a statement about how it's likely to be a variation of just that title.

I think it'll be - Batman/Superman: Subtitle or just Batman/Superman.

Maybe, but it's still not officially titled anything at the moment. For all we know it still might be called "World's Finest".

"World's finest" doesn't mean much to the general audience though. Which is why it's likely the title will contain both character's names. "Batman vs Superman" is sort of a simple way to get that across.

I think the names are so iconic on their own i really don't think the title needs much more than those two names put together?

:( I really liked FvJ, AvP1 is OK, AvP2 is trash.

I want Man of Steel: World's Finest.
