How does everyone...or anyone feel about Amber Heard for MJ?

Oh its definitely a very emphatic YES from me.

Screw "saving her up for Felicia". First of all, we dont even know if Black Cat will ever make an appearance. Use her now for a role that is 99% gonna happen in the sequel, and not later for a role that only MIGHT happen in one of the movies.

Shes a pretty good actress and I'd much like her in a major role anyway.

I don't know that Amber Heard is all that sassy like MJ though. Emma Stone had more of that personality, yet she was cast as Gwen. Amber would've seemed more suitable for Gwen. Amber is sexy, but there's a certain innocence to her too.

Emma was definitely not miscast as Gwen imo. I think a big part of that is she's just so likable and I feel like thats what Gwen is supposed to be: A girl thats just naturally likable. Which is what makes her death all the more tragic.

With MJ, in the comics at least, she starts off as a hot party chick, but of course, Peter finds out later that theres a lot more to her than just that. The sassy attitude is something Kirsten Dunst never had either, but she was by no means a terrible MJ. Amber Heard can pull it off imo. She's had a good bunch of different roles.

She's better now. Slap her natural hair color back on her, cover up those freckles and you've got MJ.

Agreed. I personally think she looks as bad as she does now because she has blond hair.

I just simply don't think she has any of the traits that one would think of when they think of Mary Jane. She had red hair at one time, but that's pretty much where the similarities end. And? I'm aware. I wasn't saying that she can't act, I just don't think that she could pull off that particular role very well. That's just my opinion based off of what I've seen of her acting. Some may see some qualities in her that may convince them that she could be a good Mary Jane, but I just don't see it.

She only looks okay in overly photoshopped magazines nowadays. Yeah you could cover her up with a TON of make-up to make her look good. She needs a nice tan, her natural redhead back and a little bit of meat on her bones for her to be even a little considered for the MJ role
