i'm reading the clone saga TPB's right now, and the one issue i was reading last night, the artists rendition of MJ reminded me so much of Amber Heard

Yeah Amber is pretty versatile in my opinion. She can play innocent girls but also vixen/seductress type people as well. I think she has a charm to her that would suit a Spider-Man film. I think she could embody Mary Jane.

She is so edgy and sexy to me. The lesbian thing is quite a turn on (depending on who you are ) I don't know, some of the other choices are just meh, I don't want to go for too overtly sexual like Megan Fox but then I don't wanna go for Mary.E. Winstead who does nothing for me. She's pretty an' all but doesn't have that edge that makes me want to jump in and protect her.

Amber is pure class, too.

Not at all, only ones I've shot down have been Satine and defended Seyfried when she is clearly a possible future candidate. I don't really count the Jessica Stroup thing as shooting her down, but she doesn't look good with the red hair in the pic that was posted. She would honestly look better bald than with the style she has on.
I also supported the posters who suggested Karen Gillan, Imogen Poots and Felicity Jones.
And to those that suggested Amber Heard and Alexandra Breckinridge, I didn't shoot them down, I just saw those actresses more as Black Cat possibilities than MJ.

Well I gotta say, I'm gonna stick with these 5 lovely ladies to hopefully be looked at at some point for MJ.

Regarding her character, it's really nothing hard to do. A free spirit sex kitten has been done many times before, it can be done again. However, I find it stupid people here want her to come along after Gwen. They can coexist.

Disregarding hair color I think Emma makes a better Gwen. Emma plays a better 'smart' or 'sweet' girl IMO rather than a supa-sexy party girl.

Eh, not a top choice, not a mediocre choice, but I would be disappointed if she got the role. Could be because I don't like 90210, or could be because of the crazy posters from the Lois Lane thread who wanted her.

In fairness, i've never seen 90210... not really my kind of thing. But I have watched a lot of clips of her in it and she seemed pretty solid.

I didn't care for Jessica Stroup on Reaper at all. Never watched 90210, but I've seen nothing from her that makes me think she could pull off this role. It's a role that kinda demands charisma, and she doesn't seem to have any. I feel the same way about Dianna Agron, too.

From the picture above though, I'd say Gillan, Seyfried and Poots definitely do.

I like Agron but I'm not sure she could pull off party girl. Everything I've seen her in has had her as a mean girl/woman or the girl next door (ala Gwen).

Her past roles or personality in real life may not be party girl, but I don't see that as an issue because it's called acting for a reason.
