Could be because I don't like 90210, or could be because of the crazy posters from the Lois Lane thread who wanted her.

Yeah I reeaally wanted her for the role of Lois Lane. She looks great for it. I now realise that perhaps she was too young for that part seeing as Lois will be more experienced.

I'm not sure about her as MJ though, not sure if she would suit that part. Annalynne McCord might be an idea though

I like Agron but I'm not sure she could pull off party girl. Everything I've seen her in has had her as a mean girl/woman or the girl next door (ala Gwen).

Uh, no. "The Girl Next Door" is Mary Jane...as evident by the movies, comics, shows, and games.

I loved Cassidy Freeman on The Playboy Club, but yeah, she's too old looking to fit in with Garfield and Stone.

I'd add Leah Pipes to my MJ considerations though.

Have you not seen the latest episode of Glee with Agron?

I have. The girl has no spark on screen, no matter what kind of personality they give her (which as you know totally changes week to week). She could have worked for Gwen playing the nice girl next door type (the personality type, not suggesting Gwen actually lives next door!) because that's not a stretch for her, but Mary Jane just has to be so alive that she jumps off the screen, and Agron can't do that, imo.

Someone like Evan Rachel Wood looks the part, but her personality is off for the character IMO. Imogen Poots? It's tough because there are plenty of hot actresses but few that have that natural charisma that the character possesses. That is even more important then overall looks.

You know what would be ironic?
If Lacey Chabert, who voiced Gwen in The Spectacular Spider-Man, got to play Mary-Jane. On top of that, she is absolutely gorgeous!
Currently 28, so not too far from Andrew's age.
