In all fairness, we have certain posters with similiar attitudes here. Its not that much of a stretch that a good majority of Obama's supporters are like this, just as there are probably several McCain supporters who would do the reverse.

I think it's fair to say that some Obama supporters are like this, but to say that a "good majority" of Obama supporters are, based on a comedy radio show that purposefully tries to find morons to put on the air is stretching it a bit. ;)

Comeon Jag, if you stood outside a polling place on election day and asked 100 people to explain why they are voting for Obama or McCain, how many do you think could give you a straight answer? 15? 20?

Are you suggesting that a majority of Obama supporters base the support on race while only several McCain supporters do? I’d like to hope that “a good majority” is just wrong. I may be naïve but I have more faith that that. Something tells me though, that if those folks interviewed were asked if they’re actually registered to vote, most of them would say no.

I'm saying a good majority on both sides probably don't know why the hell they are voting or where their candidates stand on the issues. And even those who do, I'd say a good majority of them would vote straight D or R regardless of the issues.

You don't think much of your fellow Americans, do you, Matt? Why do you hate America? :oldrazz:

Seriously, though, I think you're underestimating people just a tad. Yes, there are a vocal contingent of idiots out there, but I meet far more people who have very rationalized reasons about who they're going to vote for, personally.

Howard Stern - Obama vs. McCain on the issues:

Ouch...

My question is how many people did they interview to get those three idiots? My guess is they talked to a lot of people and most at the very least know Obama's position on Iraq and that Sarah Palin is not his running mate.

This is what conservatives would call "Michael Moore documentation."

Matt must not live in the 'real America'. He must live in one of those fake, anti-American parts. :funny:

I'd fathom you could do this Stern stunt in reverse and find that there are also a large number of people who wont vote for Obama simply because he's black even if they may agree with his stance on the issues.

That's exactly how it works. The same thing Leno does with his Jaywalk stuff, picks out the really stupid people. Smart people who know what they are talking about are not funny, and to be sure that's all Stern and Leno are concerned about, not making an accurate assessment of the voting public's IQ.

I think multiple facepalms are the appropriate responses to this.

:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

I think it also justifies this

Ya know...

It's interesting how 72 looks on different people. Colin Powell looks young, almost as if he's in his late 50's/ early 60s.

In stark contrast, John McCain just...looks 72.

Isn't there a really un-politically correct saying about how black people age differently from white people? Or am I mistaken?

You mean, "Black don't crack"? LOL :p Perhaps.

But I know white folks that defy age (and gravity) in their 70s and 80s too. McCain, unfortunately, is not one of them.

I just received an 'Obama doesn't care about babies born alive after abortion!' mailer today. It was sent by the National Right To Life PAC. :cmad:

...................

I honestly don't know what to say. THis....wow. This would be funny if it wasn't so sad. What a joke of a candidate. What a circus of a campaign.

I agree Knives. It would be funny if he weren't using it as a serious line of attack.

I toss all the stupid mailers right in the garbage. I don't even look at them. I've already voted for Obama, so i'm good to go.

My mothers boyfriend did get a phone call from the McCain campaign friday though, trying to BULLY him into voting McCain. "Why the hell are you voting for Obama! He's a socialist! If you like socialism so much you should go back to whatever country you cam from!"Then the guy hung up. My mom called them back and told them the **** off.

They they had the balls to call back saturday and ask for donations. I hung up the second the woman said "McCain". I have no patience anymore for stupid republican assclowns that the McCain/Palin camp seem to be attracting to themselves.

I haven't gotten a phone call from the McCain campaign yet. I expect that to be coming soon though.

Something tells me this "make your own Joe the Plumber sign" idea the McCain campaign has will backfire on them.

Case in point, my customized rally sign:
