I agree Knives. It would be funny if he weren't using it as a serious line of attack.

I watched the rally that McCain mentioned this live and it seemed to me it was fairly tongue and cheek though it does play into the McCain point that Obama says one thing to one group of people and another to the other.

So let me get this straight - people can say anything about Palin and McCain, but not Obama or Biden? If they do they are trolls.

John McCain is grasping at straws and throwing out anything that he can possibly throw to see if it sticks. It's sad. And pathetic.

So - he can't give his support to more than one group of people? :whatever:

Yeah, Stern and his crew have a talent for finding stupid people and putting them on the air.

Ya, I didn't come away from that thinking, "Black ppl only vote for Obama because he's black". I came away from it wondering how many ppl and wasted time Howard's ppl had to sift thru to find 3 ppl who knew who Obama and McCain were, but didn't know who Palin is or which one chose her as VP.

If you search hard enough you'll find ppl who are ignorant when it comes to anything. It doesn't mean that just because those 3 didn't know that that all black ppl are like that. Not that anyone here probably thought that, I just didn't see the point of Stern doing that skit.

Also wanna tack on that any votes given to Obama purely because of his race will be countered by ppl not voting for him purely because of his race.

Glad you brought this to light, I refuse to vote for a candidate that doesn't even know which team he supports. McCain you have won me over, not with your stances on key economical or foreign issues, but with your ability to only talk about the most trivial of things with less than a month until voting takes place.

I'm going to try this, if I ever lose my job and have to go job hunting. When asked what qualifications I have for the job, I'm going to instead ask the potential boss what his favorite baseball team is and then claim everyone else applying for the job other than me hates his team. Then I'll make up random accusations that they're not even American, and that they all have criminal records. John McCain is brilliant, why didn't I see this before!?!?

Something tells me this "make your own Joe the Plumber sign" idea the McCain campaign has will backfire on them.

Case in point, my customized rally sign:

LOL.

I don't get it tho. Thought McCain said it was Obama's fault for making 'Joe's' life a living hell because of the media? I mean things will start looking a little fishy if he keeps pushing this. I mean sure, it's Obama's fault a random guy came up to him on the campaign trail and asked him a question about his hypothetical buisness, and it's also Obama's fault that McCain decided to bring him up 20 something times during the debate. It's just that ppl might actually start blaming McCain for this Joe stuff for making official Joe bumpersticker deals. /sarcasm

You don't think extreme Democrat pundits wouldn't do the same if Janet Reno endorsed a Republican?

Hell - look at whats happened with Lieberman.
Democrats generally don't have a problem if someone feels it's not the right party for them anymore. The problem in Joe's case lies in the fact that he is a backstabbing ass.

Leiberman is to the Dems what Jumpin' Jim Jeffords is to the Reps. They're both persona non grata to their former parties. At least with Leiberman though, he still votes with the Dems, thereby allowing them to control the Senate.

Jon Stewart just did a story on this. He added a negative campaign ad that showed Obama "palling around" with the Philly Phanatic. :lmao:

(that one definitely goes well with the photo Colbert showed last night of Obama and Ayers sharing an ice cream cone on Splash Mountain in Disney World)

He also showed clips from 3 different Palin rallies where she told Phillies, Red Sox, and Rays fans how they loved being the underdog just like them!

Finally he said "Does anyone even work on this campaign?"

I'll have to catch a repeat then! :yay:
