Not really, it wouldn't necessarily be the most suitable word, but if it expresses how you felt about the person better than a less harsh word, it becomes non-sensical self censorship to not express yourself that way.

Well, Tom, you say you're the "voice of reason", but so far all I see from you is trollish flame-baiting. Not a good way to make a first impression.

Fact is, you're a hypocrite on many levels. You mock Electro UK for being a comic book fan, but you joined a COMIC BOOK FAN FORUM to do it. You talk about respecting the opinions of others, but crap over "Star Wars" and call comic book fans freaks.

And in between annoying plenty of people, you are STILL missing the point. Someone who walks in a comic book store...who probably spends half his day dealing with STAR WARS merchandise...hasn't heard of STAR WARS...arguably the most iconic franchise in cinema history. It's not a matter of being a fan, or attacking people with different interests. It's someone who lacks basic cultural knowledge. Like it or hate it, you have heard of Star Wars. EVERYONE has.

So here's a lesson for you. Before butting in with snidey remarks, why don't you try actually reading what other people are saying. It will make you look a lot less stupid.

Unfortunately all mine are just stuff like: "I was working and it was boring and I fell asleep" or "I was working and the were playing the bad reggae and I wanted to kill somebody"

They were created by the same people. So its like in 2001, they were said, 'Hey, I have an awesome idea! A new anti-terrorist show dealing with a not-so-covert anti-terrorist agency and seeing how they deal with terrorist threats within the first 24 hours!'.

Then someone is like, 'Too bad lfn is over. That would've made a great plot while it was still running. But how are we going to have the same emotional depth as lfn?'

'We're not. We have a budget now. Explode stuff.'

Sigh. If only they had had that plot and a decent budget 5 years before...

Ok, too much off topic... I'll stop now...

Except the first season actually DID have emotional depth and a low budget with very little explosions. It was season two when they forgot they had characters and made it about the action.

Besides, the two shows were attempting to achieve different things. LFN was great, but comparing it to 24 is like comparing apples and oranges.
