The New and Improved "Heroes vs. Villains: Marvel" RPG

Sabretooth pulles his foot back, ripping the dagger from his foot. He grabs Deadpool by the head and throws him against the wall. His arm is now fully regenerated.

"Oh so it's going to be that kinda fight huh?"

*Deadpool pulls out a CX4 Carbine and opens it up at Sabretooth.*

"The bigger they are....the bigger the target."

*Deadpools broken arm has mended itself. As he fires upon Sabertooth he reaches for another weapon.*

" I think we've done our jobs well out here Photon, out teams inside and in place...I suggest we join them immediately," shouts Quicksilver.

"Right behind you." Photon responds back. "Afterall you know the place." she adds

He then races inside the citadel bringing up the rear flanks of the team. He notices laser turrets popping out of the walls behind Jean and Scott and immediately disables them.

"Outside forces seem to be quelled for the time being, let's shut down my father and Doom NOW!!," shouts Quicksilver in his usual hasty manner.

He then proceeds to run up to Sabretooth, punch him 200 times in the face, and pull Deadpool away from his grasp...all in the span of a half-second.

"Don't bother to thank me...I don't like you, but you're necessary to this raid...and please be quiet," Pietro says.

OOC: as if!!!! heh

"I got a better ideal" Photon shots out. and in and instant she flys high over Sabretooth and fires a series of high powered laser blasts in a circle around him deep into the floor, making it give way. And suddendly Sabertooth finds himself rapidly falling several stories downward.

"Okay. I brought us some time." she says looking down at him.

Taskmaster walks into a bank as if he owned the place. Nobody even raised an eyebrow at his appearance. Casually, we strolled up to the bank teller. The teller asked "Can I help you today, Mr. Osborn?"

Using the voice and appearance that he had copied exactly from Norman Osborn, Taskmaster replied to the teller.

"Yes, you can. I'd like to withdraw ten million dollars from my off shores account, please."

The teller, moderately surprised by the large sum of money he was being asked to transfer, said to Taskmaster, "Very well, sir. All I need is your signature right here." The teller slid a form to TM.

Thankfully, Taskmaster had thought this out to the last detail. When he had been inside of Osborn's office, he had seen diplomas and certificates on Norman's wall which blatantly paraded his signature. Taskmaster signed the document without hesitation.

Minutes later, Taskmaster carried out ten million dollars in a briefcase. His face, once again changed. His destination, known only to himself.

Daredevil rolled away Spider-Man's attack and said, "Peter" realizing that Peter Parker was now gone only Spider-Man was there he stood up and continued," Spider-Man listen to me for one minute...that's all I ask. I can't kill him anymore than you could kill the Goblin all those times you had the chance. They deserve to die but not by our hands...we are not them. We believe in justice & hope...if we decide to start killing them we have lost our humanity and we might as well just start killing anyone we want. There is still a chance...we are part of the avengers...you, Ghost-Rider if he wishes to come with us & I can use the jet and we can follow them wherever they go. We can still win this war...but only if we remember the reason why we fight this war to begin with. To protect thousands of innocent people so they will never know the pain we know."

Daredevil removed his mask. He said, "If there was anyway I could spare you this pain Spider-Man I would. I have failed the only two women I ever loved and not a day goes by that I don't forget that, and now because I didn't kill Bullseye I have failed you & MJ. If what you want right now is my head on a platter." He lowered his arms and said, "Go ahead...I won't stop you and I won't retaliate."

"ARE YOU BLIND MAN!?" Spider-man yelled...then realized what he was doing. He was yelling at one of his few allied friends...

He was not yelling at Daredevil though...nor at Matt Murdock. He was yelling at himself for allowing that monster to murder his wife.

Then Spider-man did something that is almost unheard of. He collapsed. He fell to the floor,(we're still on a roof, right?) and grabbed his head in his hands. And he sobbed.

"Dare-Matt, you are right. We can follow them." He said after a few mintues. He stood up, standing as tall as ever. "Let's go to the avengers jet." Spider-man said and leapt into the sky, webslinging towards the jet.

Where would they go? It doesn't matter. I'll find them. I might not have a tracer on them, but between DD and my spider-sense, we will find them, Spider-man thought.

And make them pay.

 

[Bat Child]

*Human Torch sets Psylocke with Jean and Scott.*

"Sorry it took so long, but I was distracted. Jean how develop is your phoenix power? Is it possible for you to locate the spores with your powers? If not, maybe you and Strange can work together on something. I'll meet you guys later, as for you Psylocke. I'll be missing your pretty face, so I finish this as soon as possible."

*As the Human Torch flies inside the hallways, his fire illuminates the corridors. He starts shooting fire balls at nearby guards.*

"It still scares me and takes over every once and a while. But i think i can handle searching for some spores. I'll try in a minute."

:::Jean looks at scott,who gives her the thumbs up:::
:::Jean holds a handful of guards in place as Scott blasts them threw with a spray of his optic blast:::

"Lets go find Deadpool and Bobby, They may need a hand in this"

:::Suddenly Jean falls to the ground screaming. The Pheonix has rushed into her mind and takes over. She screams in everybodies mind.:::

OOC: This mini-arc is my finale as TM on the Marvel RPG.
That money is what I will use to retire Taskmaster with. I'm sure Osborn (a multi-billionaire) won't miss 10 million, since it's petty cash in his eyes.
I'm also being very careful to leave no trace that would lead anyone to think that Tasky was the one who stole the $.

My next 'IC' post tomorrow will be my goodbye.

Frank pulled up to the front of the airport. (Hope that is not to speedy for anyone)
I had been fighting a war all my life it seemed.....
Frank stepped out of the battle van still with a slight limp.
But for years it has been a different kind of war......
Frank ***** his M16 and checks his sight as he walks out onto the runway in search of Ghost rider, Spider-man and Daredevil.
Now we're in the heat of WWIII and Im still here taking out street trash.
Frank sees Spider-man jump into the sky in the direction of theavengers jet, fallowing as quickly as he can with his wounded leg.
I think its time I got back to the basics.

OOC: A) I do read all of the posts before posting. But if I hold up on acting upon them until the last post I'LL NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO POST ANYTHING. So I start posting from when I last came on line and work from there. That way I get to react to what I see.

So this can go two ways/

a) Photon does the actions After your fight with sabertooth.

or

b) Photon does her actions as planned and you jumped in behind him to finish him off.

"Let me cool them down."

*Iceman freezes their flaming rear ends, causing them to fall to the ground with the new weight on their butts."

"Lets finish off the last of these lackies and find the two metal heads."

IC: Sabretooth is being riddled with bullets but he starts walking/stumbling towards Deadpool, his body is covered in blood.
"Whats with the gun, I thought this was a knife and claw fight. What you trying to compinsate for somthing?"
Sabretooth says as he gets up to Deadpool, he grabs the barrel of the gun and pinches it shut causing it to backfire on Deadpool.
But the large amount of blood loss finally causes Sabretooth to collapse.

*Deadpool takes a dagger from his boot and stabs it through the bottom of Sabertooth's jaw and kicks him through the hole in the ground that Photon has created.*

"All I need now is the secret decoder ring, and I'm as good as an X-Mavenger."

"Sabretooth?!! My father would employ Sabretooth?...a mutant whose has slaughtered his own kind in the tunnels below New York. He is truly the maddest of the mad, hiring one who has worked against everything he has preached for 'lo these many years!! Now the mutant supremacist hires the mutant KILLER???!!...Magneto must pay for this!!!!" shouts Quicksilver, emboldened to fight even harder against the Genoshan armies.

Then, racing about the battle, hears Jean/Phoenix muttering about the spores and sees her collapse. He asks Scott, "what was she saying?"

OOC: IS there a Cyclops? I have only seen him as an NPC so far. If we do have a Scott, I apologize...

"She says it's a trap," Scott says.

"Well then get her out of here and let us deal with it!" Pietro says hastily as always.

Then, moving ahead of the rest to engage the next wave of guards, Pietro finds himself in an empty hallway. "Oh SH**...." Pietro exclaims, as the walls explode and cave in on his position. He is able to escape...barely. "This is a dead end!!!," he shouts. Then he looks down...sees his bleeding legs...and falls unconcious.

OOC: Sorry if it seems I'm all over at once...trying to RP at super-speed and find a rythm.
