For the first time since he had killed Mary-Jane, a genuine grin creeped across Bullseye's face as he took the concoction from Doctor Octopus.

"Thanks Doc. I'm on the verge of falling apart here. I could really use a miracle cure."

Bullseye applied the liquid to his leg and foot. Then he applied some to his shoulder. He immediately began to feel better. It worked fast. Bullseye pulled his boot back on and replaced the bandages over the wounds, which were already beginning to shrink down to just light scars.

He found he was able to walk a little easier, and he was sure that would further improve within the next few hours. He picked up his mask, and put it back on.

"So, Doc, are we headin' to The Bugle?"

"Not another chopper!" Max thought to himself but then he sighed. "Well at least Venom won't be there to scare the living s**t outta me" he thought.

OOC: Well, Doc Ock flew a chopper to Latveria and back in less than a day before, and I don't think a little bit of reality-bending is going to do any harm.

I mean, its not as if we've blown up New York, or killed off a major character. Wait a second...

OOC: I understand that there's gonna be anomalies because of the nature of the comic book world...so, bathing NYC in radiation and killing major characters is not outside the realm of possibility. But you're talking about taking a regular, news helicopter on a 10-12 hour flight over the Atlantic Ocean...I thought Doctor Octopus was a genius...

That being said, Duker Jay, your observations are usually valid. Maybe the chopper couldn't take that much of a journey. But how do you know we're not planning to just take the chopper out of NYC, land in an airport that isn't crawling with heroes, and steal a plane to Latveria from there?

OOC: Yeah...sorry...I wasn't trying to stop you guys from doing it...really, until Bullseye picks up an airplane and drops it on The Thing, I'm not going to actually oppose things that don't affect me. I was actually expecting someone to say that the chopper was going to be used to get out of the city to another airport.
But, it was just a light-hearted comment...hence the "balls line"...I mean, really...take the helicopter across the ocean...I won't say another word.

As far as my OOC posts outnumbering my IC posts...that's, no doubt, true. But, that's because, for the last little while I've been in a little slower-paced story...I'm wary of posting lots and moving action along too quickly after what we did when I first joined (taking out Doom's army without them responding)...so now...I have to wait a little more....which is fine.

Anyway, if I had actually known that the first little post would cause so much controversy...I wouldn't have made it...but I figured we joked around in here all the time, it couldn't hurt...oh well...

OOC: super ferret, im not sure if you noticed or not a few pages back, but Doom has placed a black magic shroud over the whereabouts of the viral containers. it wouldnt stop you forever, considering ur magic is more powerful than mine, but the purpose was to buy some time. i dunno if you noticed that or not so yeah.

IC: Doom was still in Genosha, contemplating his next move. His armies were going to be defeated... there was no denying that now. What Victor had to decide was how he was going to still win this war... there were other ways of conquering planets than through force of arms...

... and then he had it. The answer.

A devilish grin slowly formed on Doom's face as he quickly made his way to the main command center of the Genoshan facility. Utilizing one of Magneto's many psychic mutants, Doom sent a signal into the vast recesses of space.

Doom didn't know if this message was being recieved by Thanos, but he had to try. It was important to approach Thanos with the utmost respect... one false move could leave Doom fried where he stood. Throughout, the galaxy... there was none more powerful than Thanos of Titan... his power was of cosmic and epic proportions, stretching across planets and galaxies... striking fear into those who opposed him... Doom knew this, but was confident in his plan.

... Thanos... DOOM offers you the opportunity you have always longed for... the one thing you have yearned for buy have been unable to attain... I offer you the chance to finally be with Lady Death, forever... and ever. Help me conquer this world, and using my skill in technology, Doom will grant you the wish you have always wanted. Remember, DOOM is the one who single handedly opened a portal to hell to rescue his mother... and that was when DOOM was a young man... just imagine NOW what DOOM could do for you... and what you could do for DOOM...

Thanos listens to the message and contimplates this offer, of course he is weary of The Iron Fisted ruler of Latveria. As is Thanos of titan always the schemer, he also knows that Doom never makes an offer without alternate means at hand. His presence still unknown to the majority of the universe Thanos contimplates if he should even respond, for althouh Thanos' might is vast and virtually limitless, so are the number of his Enemies. He sits a while pondering Doom's offer.....:
