"Let's go then Cap." Spider-man said, and retreated to the back area of the jet, and put up a wall of webbing between him and the other heroes.

Behind that wall Spider-man sobbed.

"Face it Tiger, You've just hit the jackpot." He could still hear her voice.

Jackpots run out. Lotterys run out. MJ's time ran out...

"Huh?" The Thing started out of his sleep.

Dr. Strange stood over him. "Benjamin, I'm terribly sorry to wake you, but I am going to New York, the X-Men know where the virus's are. I would like you to accompany me, we may need your strength."

"New York, eh?" Ben asked gruffly. "Geez, I shoulda just stayed there. Well, lead the way...I guess."

OOC: Superferret, I'll let you bunny The Thing as far as New York...whenever you get us there, leave me an opening to make my post.

Dr. Strange opened a portal in the air, "After you." he said to Grimm. Ben rolled his eyes, and after a moments hesitation, stepped through. Strange followed him, after which the portal closed.

:::Jean along with Cyclops and Quicksilver arrive at New York. The cold air hits Jeans skin but she apears unaffected:::

~Dr. Strange, I have arrived at chelsea. I will wait here for you.~

"Rest up boys. There will be quite a hunt soon"

Strange got Jean's message just as he and the Thing stepped out of the portal; right in the center of Grand Central Station.

~Chelsea? Benjamin and I are already in Grand Central. You have some catching up to do.~

"Har har...yeah...that's why Stretch keeps me on th' payroll...my negotiatin' skills. I guess I do gotta certain way with words..." Ben Grimm continues chuckling to himself as he makes his way out of the station. "I guess I'll hit up ol' city hall. 'IT'S ALERTIN' TIME!'...naw...ain't as catchy."

The massive form of the Fantastic Four's resident tough-guy, works it's way, surprisingly delicately, through the throngs of people...most of which are now slightly alarmed by the sudden presence of five high-level superhumans.

Minutes later, the "ever-lovin', blue-eyed Thing" arrives at the nearest police station. Walking up to the officer on duty at the desk, Grimm begins his carefully thought-out out warning.

"Hey kid!" He says to the obviously inexperienced young man sitting at his computer. "You know who I am, right? Well, guess what...those 'deadly virus gizmos' that Doom's got planted around the world...some of them happen to be in New York, here...go figur', right? One o' those X-brats found 'em. So, anyways...we could probably use a little help with crowd control over at Gran' Central...capisce?"

The rookie cop looks up at the imposing wall of orange rock. "You've got it, Mr. Thing, sir."

"Good..that's real good ta hear...you know what..? I was sent here cuz I'm a good talker..." Grimm smiles. He then lets out a sudden, surprised burst of laughter. The young officer jumps. "HA! I'm the negotiator."

Ben Grimm laughs as he strolls out of the police station and back towards Grand Central and, yet another set of, his temporary teammates.

Daredevil couldl hear his friend sobbing but felt it best to leave him alone. When I lost karen & Elektra the last thing I wanted to hear was "oh it's okay they're better off. We are the ones who are suffering." While that knowledge eventually provides a measure of comfort over the years...the bottom line is I am a man who was missing 2 women that he loved...and failed. Damn there are times when heightend senses are more of a curse then a blessing and this is one of them. Unfortunately Peter needs to work this out on is own. I'll be there for him if he needs me otherwise the best I can do is be his friend...and hope he doesn't try to kill Bullseye

"I need just enough electricity to power this machine, and you, Wade Wilson, are one of the people who can do this. I'm not sure what will happen to you, but if all goes well, you will be kept alive."

*Magneto smiles*

"You see, the human body stores alot of energy, whether in electric impulses or fats, but you my friend are a healer. I can draw that energy from you like a rechargeable battery. Now how much is needed to start this up is the problem. If I can draw enough from you to start this without killing you. Then it's, how do you say it, "easy street"..."

*Magneto looks back at Wilson*

"Let's get this over with..."

OOC: Where's Cyclops?....I mean....The real guy...like....he hasnt posted in forty seven hundred and nineteen days.....Give or take a few of course....I don't want to bunny him around forever....and such.

~Okay team I found the location of one Spore. Its underneath one of the S trains. I cannot pinpoint which one its on, but there are only four of them. Quicksilver head over to the S and see if you can find it, then bring it to Dr. Strange and he'll toss it into another dimension~

"Scott i hear something"

:::A Robot walks down one of the tunnels. Jean alerts Cyclops and he jumps down to meet the Bot:::

CYCLOPS:"You made a wrong turn Mister."

:::Cyclops charges the Bot and slides under its legs then lets a poweful blast through its back. Cyclops walks away towards Jean and he is expecting it to fall and explode. But the Bot raises its gun and fires toward Cyclops' back. Jean stops the shot in mid air and turns it around and tosses it right into the head of the Bot.:::

"That was close"

"Photon. It is good to be joined by such a powerful ally. I am looking for Magneto. He and Dr. Doom have been waging war on the innocent for far too long now and it is time to bring justice to these villains!"

OOC: This thread moves about three pages a day so its f**kin' hard to keep up. I have no idea where any villains, or heroes for that matter, are in relation to me. Nobody really specifies so its kind of hard. Don't get pissed at me because you think it would take five seconds to figure it out because that is bull s**t and you can't. "I am in Genosha." is a little vague so please bear with me. I am just going to start "walking" around until I "find" somebody.

Sabretooth walks into the chamber still carrying the crate of concussion grenades. He sets the crate down and walks up to Magneto and Deadpool, Sabretooth was almost tempted to reach out and snap Deadpool's neck but notices he is hooked up to some kind of machine and decided not to.
