Oh boy this is gonna be fun...
*grabs popcorn*

We might have to face it that this film probably isn't gonna be hated the way some may have thought.

I'm guessing many critics don't want to admit that Feig could make a stinker after he supposedly did good with Bridesmaid and Spy. Also the whole sexism angle has tainted many people.

Even the negative reviews make sure to praise the actresses and say Feig directing or the script let them down.

No matter the review both sides extremists are gonna be insane to deal with

I really wanted to have this be decent and I still hope it is but I just haven't enjoyed any of fiegs past works so I just sorta though meh but it seems this is gonna be an either or film

You either worship it and claim it's a masterpiece or despise it and claim it's a flaming dog turd.

I will say bravo to sonys marketing though they knew they had screwed up with poor trailers so they pushed the sexist angle perfectly by only allowing these negative style of comments to remain so it's an easy get out clause of it tanked

Okay the theme is crap.

Bring back Ray Parker!

Don't bother posting the tomatometer until a substantial amount of reviews are in. You look like a dumbass thinking 7 is enough.

Im predicting somewhere between 65-70%

Why do people actually follow and care about the tomatometer. Such a waste of time.

Because it shows a general consensus on how the movie was rated by the reviewers who matter. Sometimes it's great, and others not so much.

If someone likes the film, they like it. If they don't, they don't. It's called personal opinions. I'm hoping the decent to good reviews keep coming in but if they don't, oh well. I just want this to be good.

Not anymore.

I just checked a minute ago and it's the same as in that pic.

After seeing how critics praised IDR in the beginning, then closer to release it plummeted - not going to get any hopes that the marketing just screwed this one over a lot. I'd love for that to be the case but from seeing how BvS and IDR started out in comparison to how it ended - just going to wait until it's closer.

Not all of us have unlimited time and money to watch every movie we have a middling interest in to decide for ourselves if it's worthwhile.

Conversely, the tomatometer can make someone check out a movie they might have otherwise passed up (Fury Road being a big example).

This. It has never stopped me from seeing or made me see a movie. Totally pointless for me.

According to the tomatometer Kingdom of the Crystal skull is 77% which makes it fresh right? Yeah. Exactly.
