Does he still have that problem? When he first woke up from his coma, he didn't even remember how he knew Amelia Voght, but he was remorseful for all the crap he did to her the next time he saw her.

Oh, I'm sure Charles would eventually find out the truth from Darkhawk, but not before making his brain his personal [b-word]. When you're using mind control to put yourself in a position to talk to someone who won't harm you (I forgot to mention he also screwed around with Scott's mind recently just so they could have a private talk outdoors), you're not about to use kid gloves on someone you suspect of murdering your wife.
I doubt Charles would get that worked up; worked up enough to go after Darhawk. He and Lilandra havent been together since the late 90s. There realtionship has been dead and over for years and he's put that to rest. Does he love her? Yes, but I dont think he's in love with her. I didnt get much of an impression during the Shi'ar arc in UXM that there was much residual feelins left on his part for her. I think he simply moved on

Who knows? Charles' memory is all kinds of funky. We can only speculate until he actually meets Darkhawk and/or learns about the murder.

He definetly has the worst luck when it comes to the women's loved and being murdered. First Moira, then Jean and now Lilandra all in this decade. Gabrielle Haller and Amelia Voight are still alive but they better watch their steps next

Amelia's an Acolyte, so she's basically irrelevant. Practically the same as being dead except for those few appearances in Legacy.

As for Moira, I always liked her and Banshee instead.

Well, the Acolytes broke up. Amelia is likely living in Utopia now, since the last time we saw her she said she was moving to San Francisco.

Moira and Banshee were the most stable couple in the entire history of the X-men. The guy stayed faithful to her even though they had a long distance relationship and he was sleeping right down the hall from Emma Frost. Thats love

Why did they break up again? Was it when she died from the Legacy Virus or were they already separated before that?

Was she? I don't know, I wasn't reading X-Men comics too heavily at that point. I knew she was, like, the only non-mutant to ever contract the Legacy Virus, so I figured she died from it.

Nah, Mystique blew up her island. She died of her wounds.

Yeah, which means her f**king up Banshee's throat during that X-Corps business which lead to his eventual death at the hands of Vulcan was just one more kick in the jewels for the ole Irish Sinatra.

So then I suppose he was a better man than Cyclops wasn't he?

Though he did see her naked, but it wasn't his fault. She just dropped wardrobe right in front of him and he had the wide-eyed 'WHOA' look before she shut the door, leaving him alone. Poor guy.

Banshee just had crappy luck didn't he? (I'm sure there's an Irish joke in there somewhere)

I first really grew to like him during the Phalanx Covenant and he spiked up to one of my favorites during Generation X. He went all drunkard after Moira died for the last few issues of Gen X, then during X-Corps he went a little nuts before getting his throat slashed, then he went head first into a plane, broke his neck, and was burnt to ash (for no reason or benefit to the story might I add).

C'Mooooooon Necrosha!

I recall vaguely in the Phalanx Covenant, each issue had these two-page timelines showing the history of specific X-Men characters, as well as branching off to predict each of their futures. Banshee's future went in three directions; he died in two of them and lost a hand in the third. Is that right?

Yeah. If I recall correctly one saw him being killed by the traitor of the X-Men leading to Bishop's future (which turned out to be Xavier during Onslaught). The other saw him dying in some sentinel uprising or something like that leading to Days of Future's Past. The third had him alive having lost an eye and hand during the Summer's Rebellion leading to Cable's future.

Except for Days of Futures Past. Otherwise we'd have two different Rachel Summers, and there's only one of her allowed to exist at a time in the multiverse (except when another one pops up who doesn't count for some reason).

Messiah Complex says there are two, each of which Jamie Madrox sent a dupe to. The main one with Bishop is the one they're still in but the other one wasn't explored... though apparently that dupe is now back as Cortex or whatever his name is in X-Factor at the moment (according to letter pages).

Right, but Bishop's future apparently has the Summers Rebellion in it now, making it seemingly the same as Cable's. And the government's manufacturing Sentinels to kill and capture mutants, which is pretty Days of Future Past-ish.

But the Days of Futures Past future happened when X-Men other than Scott and Logan were still alive. Rachel Summers got taken and brainwashed when she was barely a teenager.

How do we know she wasn't taken from the Bishop/Summers Rebellion future before Madrox got there?
