She's pretty old her damn self.
I think that's part of what made them attracted to one another. They were both a little old fashioned when it came to courting. That, and the hot vampire-on-vampire sex.

If you keep pointing out inconsistencies, Ace, I'm required by law to shank you. :cmad:

:D Well I'm required by law to point out inconsistencies. So we are in a bit of a pickle.

Plus I have a stab proof vest :awesome:

You's one violent lady, Gluon.

And I think that's the last time I'll ever say "you's" online again.

And a riot ask, and some sort of stab proof neck gear. :cmad:

But make sure it's not white, since it's after labor day and all. :awesome:

And hope it's explosive proof. :cmad:

I'M explosive proof. Don't need mere armour for that!

So anyway, vere are ze apples!! Have they just forgot about them?

Right I'm confused.

I don't know if this has been addressed as I've only read up to ish 6 on JMS' Thor run. But...vere are ze golden apples? I thought the Asgardians needed these and only Enchantress can pick them?
Welcome to the clusterf*** that is the Marvel adaptation of mythology. I think we can basically assume that the gods were eating the golden apples consistently before the final Ragnarok. After that, who knows? Balder mentions that the gods are all a bit more vulnerable on Earth after one Asgardian kills another in a brawl, but no reason is given. Maybe it's because they're not eating the golden apples anymore.

As for the Enchantress' picking the golden apples, it seems like that was only true in one of the earlier Ragnarok cycles. In the current continuity, we've seen Idunn, Amora, and Freya as separate characters over the years, and Idunn was the one who picked the golden apples. We haven't seen Idunn since the final Ragnarok, though, so who knows what the deal is there?

Whose art is this and where can I find more?

Yeah, that's Adi Granov. You can tell by the carving in the stone behind Herc.

Or by the entire look of the art, since pretty much only Granov works in that style.

True enough. But if style wasn't enough, signature should be.

Yeah, he's badass. He worked on the Iron Man film and his art was used on early promotional posters for it, too.

He also did the first issues of IM Vol3, which took over a year to get to issue 4. :awesome:

He also made the entire (only 2) art for Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas. Which I loved.

OK thanks Corp

No problem. I really hope that Amora = Idunn and Freya retcon doesn't make it into the modern-day Thor comics. It's not a bad idea on its own, but it would just screw up several older stories and make for a very confusing mess. I'm already trying to figure out what the f*** the deal with Frigga is. I don't need anymore Thor continuity headaches. :o

Eh, everyone's got their continuity f***-ups. Given the many conflicting myths themselves, plus the standard comic writers not being aware of each other's work on the same character, it's a miracle Thor's history is as consistent as it is now.
