I'm not a big fan of Frank to be honest. I think he has been in some good stories but as an actual character he bores me.

But to have Daken kill him after he's gone up against countless others and survived or beaten them? That's just ridiculous.

Punisher Max is the only Punisher book as far as i'm concerned. So what they decide to do with this fake ass FrankenPunisher I couldn't care less.

was the Resurrectoin of Ma Gnucci any good? I love Ennis and Dillon together, but I was skeptical about it. so i skipped it.

All that Daken scene needed was him standing over Castles dismembered corpse saying "Flawless Victory"

do Havok and Living Monolith have any kind of relationship? i know they both wear (or at least wore) the same crown, and i thought i saw somewhere that that was for a reason. and i think they were both introduced around the same time (same story?).

Do you think Tony 'Iron Man' Stark would make a good character in a one-off Dr. Who episode? Lmao

Say Corp who's that in your Avatar? It kinda looks like Sif (from Thor) but I can't tell.

Yeah, I heard he's got a shrine to that green **** in his closet.

YOU LIE! LIARS! I hate Jade! I hate her! :argh:

(Also, the shrine is in my bathroom.) :ninja:

But yeah, it's Sif. She's fun. In the '70s Thor comics I'm reading now, she's finally getting over her sexist damsel-in-distress portrayal and kicking ass like a warrior goddess should. Now that she's stuck on Earth with the rest of the Asgardians in the current Thor comics, I hope people start using her as a superheroine someday. Maybe she could join the Lady Liberators. :awesome:

Ah, Corpy. Back when I first heard of your name, that's what ASSHAT was attributing you to: Jade love. :P Leaguer had made a little photo of her with your name on it and everything. =D

Either way, I need to pick up a lot of those 70's issues, but I heard that a lot of the character portrayals were pretty heavy handed. And the bunch I -have- read sorta feel that way too. But in all truth, it's probably no worse than any of the other titles of that time.

Comic writing was definitely not as sophisticated as it is now. If you hate seeing writers describe things that the art is already showing, you'll probably kill yourself within a few issues. But if you just take the writing as how things were done back then and focus on the stories themselves, they're pretty good. Roy Thomas' run just started in the issues I'm at now, and I know he did a lot with other pantheons of gods, so I'm really looking forward to that. Plus, you know, John Buscema art. Can't go wrong there.

Nope.

Most recently he was in Captain Britain and MI13, which was awesome, therefore, nobody read it. :(

Man, I loved Blade in MI: 13. I didn't even know his name was Eric Brooks before that comic.

Somehow, I did. I swear I osmose information from comics.

I agree Blade was great in Captain Britain and the MI:13. Best he was written since he was running around in the 70s hunting Dracula and teaching Quincy Harker the meaning of a pimp.

Probably because he had a personality in CB&MI-13. And he was mackin' on Spitfire, the old dog. :hehe:

Right I'm confused.

I don't know if this has been addressed as I've only read up to ish 6 on JMS' Thor run. But...vere are ze golden apples? I thought the Asgardians needed these and only Enchantress can pick them?
