The NEW Justice League Casting and Discussion Thread

I've already read somewhere that they have already made the script for the movie and the producer is already set. They're planning on releasing three movies with a seperate superhero in each movie and then collaborating them similar to what Marvel is doing.

It's either going to be Flash or Wonder Woman, my bet's on Wonder Woman so it will be a Woman on the team.

I also think Kate Beckinsale would make a fantastic Lois Lane!!

I don't think it will be standalone after the inevitable success of Avengers.

I think JL is why Batman is being "retooled" after The Dark Knight Rises.

Yeah. The only proof towards JL being a separate thing is Snyder's comments on the matter, and he has a proven consistency to intentionally lie to throw fans off track.

JL being a separate thing was one of the reasons that JL:Mortal fell apart.

What about Superman? Will he be the same as the MAN OF STEEL incarnation? I have to say that a Justice League of America film raises a lot of problems with continuity and such.

From watching DC and the film industry, I'm pretty certain of two things:

* No one cast in the JL film will be older than 35, at the maximum. Period.

* We'll get something close to the Animated cast in Diversity: Jon Stewart (black) GL, miscellaneous ethnicity for Martian Manhunter, and Hawkgirl to have a second chick in the line-up, likely Hispanic or misc as well.

They're going to want this to appeal to both a younger and more diverse audience, and virtually all the other renditions of the JL have been too Caucasian male. I'd bet good money on them cramming as much diversity as they can, and the animated JL cast did that well.

Do you mean in the picture or as actors? Because Shipp in the show was only 2 years older than Reynolds is now and one year younger than Bale when he was Barry Allen. And you've only seen bits and pieces of Reynolds' performance and none of Palicki's.

This is why i always say that Nolan's Batman wouldnt work in a JL movie. Everyone looks pretty good (or decent at the very least) but Batman looks like a ****** trying to fit in the with the other big guns, using pads to substitute for his lack of powers.

If Batman is ever gonna be adapted in a JL movie he needs to be effortless, elemental and full of mystique concealing and making up for his lack of powers. He's too obvious there.

PS: Palicki is hot there.

I would say that Bradley Cooper is a good choice for Green Arrow.
