Yes she did. Rewatch the Vietnam " the question is, who are you?" scene. She grabs his dog tags and reads his name. Trask Industries was obviously involved with the government. Mystique knew those mutants in Vietnam were in danger. She butt heads with Stryker several times in the film. She knew enough to lead Logan away from danger.

I'll give you her knowing Stryker's name. But Trask was doing stuff behind the government's back as they didn't know what a mutant was as established in the film.

He didn't need to be interested in joining them and didn't need to be watched 24/7. He just needed to be warned of the dangers that faced him. Logan TOLD Xavier in DoFP that he just met someone that was going to cause him a lot of pain. Xavier saw into his mind all the pain that he suffered in his life. We are led to believe this scene is what will enable Xavier to save Jean in the new timeline. Xavier also should have been able to save Logan. Especially since he would have known the exact cause of this pain and how much it hurt him! Much easier and more attainable goal if you ask me than trying to fix the Dark Phoenix.

Xavier is a telepath for crying out loud. He could have just shared these memories with the current Logan if he was still stubborn.

True. But the Last he saw Logan he was thrown in a lake. Probably thought he was dead.

The movie features the Paris Peace accords and beat us over the head with the fact that the US lost the war in Vietnam. There's no way that I could see that this Logan would go from doing jobs for mobsters to enlisting in a war that was ending.

The Paris Peace accords didn't really mark the end of the war.

Also why does it matter when XF will take place? It's still part of this franchise.

Because, based on the timeline, it limits who's allowed to be members of X-Force.

That's how I interpreted the article as well. Deadpool 2 would feature Cable and Domino with Deadpool 3 as X-force film.

I seriously doudt reynolds will do Deadpool 2 In 2018,X-force In 2019 and deadpool III In 2020.I think it's more likely Deadpool 2 in 2018 and deadpool 3 in 2020.also if reynolds pulls his weight around and demans the deadpool writers write every film with deadpool 3 films in 3 years is a bit much don't you think.

He's in a mask and makeup though. In 20 years Reynolds can still be playing Deadpool just by lending his voice for 80% of the film.

Weren't some of the promotional ads featuring Deadpool done by an actor and not Reynolds himself? He just voiced them over. Obviously it's different circumstances and getting Ryan to do all that stuff would be a logistical nightmare, but I do feel like it's not impossible to do.

Boone being the generous man he is again and tweeting that he hopes to be shooting in April for New Mutants, though maybe not in Montreal contrary to the Den of Geek report.

We have discussed this film more then enough, you shouldn't even be considering that I would think some nonsense like his physical performance doesn't matter.

You are missing the point. Everyone should know by now this role means a lot to him, and now it pays insanely. He ain't gonna get tired, and even if he was too old and tired there would be ways around it.

Personally i think its just gonna be called New mutants, i don't think they will use the X-Men title since its a spin off and would just add more confusion to whether it is its own thing or not.

And hey somehow wolverine 3 got just the title "Logan" so i'd say its possible it will just be New Mutants.

March 2, 2018 - X-Men: New Mutants
June 29, 2018 - Deadpool 2
November 2, 2018 - Gambit ?
February 14, 2019 - X-Force

Well wolverine does look different in this movie aswell as it just having the title Logan so i think it was a pretty brave move in itself to call the film just Logan when the only thing that will tie him to his wolverine character is showing the claws.

I would agree. But I am having difficulty filling the slots. My original thinking was that Deadpool 2 and X-Force would fill the 3/2/18 and 2/14/19 slots, respectively. But if New Mutants is starting soon, that will likely be the first post Logan release.

Deadpool 2 is the only option possible for the brutal 6/29/18 date, though I could also see that one going away. But if Deadpool 2 moves to 11/2/18, that's only a few short months between X-Force in 2/14/19. It's quite confusing.

I won't be surprised if they include X-Men in the title. Though given how Apocalypse underperformed, I don't think it adds much especially with the roster of this film.

it's doudtful they have X-men title with new mutants.Both the wolverine and logan didn't.besides Xavier may be only connection to X-Men in film

Inless they surprise us with news on gambit i say the scedul post logan will probally go like this

2018-New Mutants and Deadpool 2
2019-next X-Men film
2020-Deadpool III-which introduces X-force

Problem with giving new mutants the "X-Men" title is that it makes it difficult to tell apart the X-Men movies to the New mutant movies since people are gonna think New mutants is the next X-Men movie followed by the next official team movie which people will think is a sequel to X-Men: New Mutants.

I suppose you could go the Star Wars route and title it "New Mutants, an X-Men Story". But my thinking is that New Mutants is the next official team movie, X-Men 7.

I think it'd be New Mutants because it's already got a script, a new director, and it's fresh like deadpool in that it's new characters & stories, unlike the latest x-films, which may have come off like a rehash of Singer's films. Maybe fox thinks superhero flicks don't have to be so formulaic

The word "mutants" does enough to sell that this is X-related probably. It's not like Guardians of the Galaxy was titled "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy"
