Dawson can be in the MCU and Fox X-Men franchise.

Dawson says Marvel Television just call her up when they need her and she comes and films scenes as Claire.

Kevin Feige also shot down the fanboy theory that actors in with contracts with Marvel can't shoot superhero roles with other studios.

It crossed my mind too. Dawson could easily shoot a film or two between Netflix appearances so I guess it doesn't mean anything. Good casting though. She's always great.

Stick will die too IMO and always a high chance the black guy dies in these things so Malcolm isn't safe IMO either.

Aw, that would suck! They've already killed off Clemons, Pops, and Ben-freaking Urich. But yeah, wouldn't be surprised if Malcolm bit the dust.

But then the Netflix MCU could follow the same pattern of The Walking Dead: introduce one Black guy, kill off another.

Start with Marvel Graphic Novel #4

Then with New Mutants #1 (vol. 1) and enjoy

Some fans believed Marvel and DC had contracts preventing actors from taking roles in each others movies for some weird reason.

It came up a lot when people linked Jaimie Alexander with the Wonder Woman role. Alexander simply mentioned it was unlikely she would get the Wonder Woman role while also currently playing Sif (because both roles are a little similar in some regards) and fanboys took that as she had some contract stipulation banning her from taking a role in DC movies

Typical over reactive fans jumping to wild inaccurate conclusions

Demon Bear Saga is probably the most appropriate thing.

That being said, I've suggested before reading the stuff that builds up to it. I would also suggest reading Magik (Illyana and Storm) early on if not before you start. It's not technically a New Mutants story, but it's also got some appropriate horror elements.
