Yeah, I am perfectly fine with a more horror approach. Keep things varied. Though, trapped in a facility against their will is an approach I wasn't expecting. Just need the rest of the cast.

Anyway, I LOVE what Josh Boone is saying so far, and I love how Fox is willing to experiment and try new things, instead of staying with formuilaic 'superhero movie' confines.

great fox is doing this.new mutant,deadpool 2.dark phoenix will all be different from each other just as deadpool,apocalypse,and logan was all different types of films.

gad boone will go for it and fox will let him do something different.for this fracnise it works wonders.

Boone has been pretty upfront about adapting Demon Bear for this.

Also, looking for a really tall guy "that is good at chasing kids in hallways"

I swear some of you are more interested in bias fan opinions then the films themselves. There are already too many posts in here on that, and it's just gonna drag on with the bias fans who like to rant in here. We get it, comic fans in comment sections like to complain. That's never changed.

Everyone here has pretty much been on board this flick, and really looking forward to it. Why not focus on that?

Now I may have never read a New Mutants comic before, but from all the research I gathered about them, not all of their stories were "family fun".

the early issues while they were teenages weren't all like avengers cracking jokes.horror approach is very good for new mutants.but then again i actully have some new mutants comics in my collection.

just like dark isn't need for every film family fun isn't needer for every film.

saw on twitter rumor is rosario dawson may be up for dani's mother.which again if any bashers ever read comics is depture but woud work for film since xavier isn't in film and in comcis her grandfather knew xavier and that is how she came to school.
