BTW what did you all think of my Penguin idea...not expecting approval but it was in my head for a long time and I had to post it just to get it out.

Honestly? The only thing that's stopped me from approving you is the fact that Oswald's already been established as running the Iceberg Lounge, which was said to be the most popular nightclub in Gotham. So if you just change the name that you gave Oswald's club, or say that he changed it from the Iceberg to the Ice Palace, I'd gladly approve you. I take no issue with anything else in the app.

Bane also intimidated Cobblepot into entering an alliance with him and supplying his organization with weapons. Ever since then, he's been an unspoken subordinate/ally for Bane, keeping out of the spotlight (ie: not directly referred to in many IC posts) and quietly fulfilling his role in the story of giving Bane and his gang high grade weapons. And although it wasn't outright stated, it was implied that he still had his fascination with birds, since his Consigliere was even nicknamed "Bird" because he trained Cobblepot's pets before he eventually transferred into Bane's gang.

Syn also did some stuff with Cobblepot last season, mostly involving his human trafficking business. I came in at the end of the season and we did an arc together. Red Hood and Q rescued a little girl who Cobblepot and the Red Mafiya were preparing to sell into slavery. Although they never came face to face with him, they retaliated by burning down the warehouse that was the hub of his sex slave business.

Wow.

Just... wow to literally everything you guys are doing with the Justice League. On the one hand, I wish now that I'd opted to involve SB but, on the other hand, I think having SB or Supergirl there would only dillute the storytelling. All of your characters strengths, weaknesses, and how they creatively adapt/overcome the latter are just shining through right now.

If Superman were to hit SB's buddy Flash though, it might be Zod time...

I'm gonna do my best to get my finale stuff up this week. Worst case, I'll end it early and pick up next season so I don't hold this season back. I was in a car accident last week and that, in addition to everything else in my life, has made it tough to find time to write some posts.

Are we still doing a montage ender? And do we have an official end date yet? Next Friday I thought I remembered hearing.

Me neither...I'm thinking once we get done with this arc I'll make about 3 more posts (counting the finale) for The Atom this season. Two of the posts will set the tone for Season 3 and I am planning on doing a "The Sword of The Atom" arc at the start of Season 3.

When the JL arc is concluded, Superman is going to talk to the press for a post to explain his and the League's actions when they were under Dr. Destiny's influence, and to just try to calm the public down in general while leaving off on some potential areas for the team to explore next season.

Bane still has some big stuff to do that was sidelined to let the League story take the spotlight, but it should all breeze by relatively fast once his shenanigans get going.

That reminds me...would the rest of the JL be up for starting next season with a quick meeting? Thought maybe them voting to officially let GL into the group might be a good way to start the season. I know at least one PC member can't show up, but it can work if we have a majority.

I agree with the notion that we're done when we're done. At this point, everyone is very well aware that we're heading towards the end, so just finish your crap up and I can close the thread when all feels right.

Fine by me. Reminds me of the JLA: Secret Files issue where Clark, Bruce, and Arthur met up at the Kent farm to discuss membership nominations.

Hal also doesn't have to be our only inductee. Our team could have similar thoughts regarding other heroes that exist in the UDCU as the current members can possibly discuss other nominations as they try to make the league more versatile by having more specialists for science and magic-based threats, mysteries that need detectives, and underwater stuff (hinthint), since we seem to have the area of physical toughness covered. Batman could bring up the Question, for example. It shouldn't really matter whether they're NPCs or not, as Hal Jordan will testify.
