loved these films, some of the sequels werent that great but good nonetheless. But I agree with the actress that played Nancy in that they shouldnt have killed her off.

But ya once Robert retires and cant do the role anymore, they should offically put Freddie into the slasher retirement home, it would be a shame to have someone else try and take the role over but with todays entertainment, probably in the next 10/20 years, we will have a restart on the franchise.

I love the franchise and can't wait for another sequel. I'm about half way done with a sequel script that I wrote for my screenwriting class.

Good thing we can't see roberts real face and it's all under make up so you can't tell he has aged.

Even if he did age a little,it doesn't really matter. Like,if they do get the prequel off the ground,Robert still looks young enough to play the "human" Freddy. And I think he will still look young enough for some time still.t:

You know, I never knew they altered Robert's voice when he was Freddy until a few months ago.

I knew they did that a while ago. Nobody's voice is THAT deep. I've met Robert in person and you can tell that it's his voice behind Freddy,but like I said,there's no way anybody could get their voice that deep(except maybe me. I've been working on my Freddy voice and have got it down cold).
Btw,I've been hearing rumors of a Nightmare prequel for this Halloween. My fingers are crossed.t:

I have this set, it has all 7 of the freddy films from part 1 to new nightmare. it has a 8th disc that has all the trailers, interviews, making of featurettes, music videos etc. the freddy's dead dvd has the ending option of regular or theater 3D with 2 pairs of glasses . and each dvd has a 'jump to a death scene' on it. first and last movie dvds have commentary by wes craven and heather langencamp on the first one only. i got it off of ebay a few years ago for 50 bucks, was 130 new in 99. i also have the Freddy vs Jason dvd t:
