yeah, not all of it. But the first arc where he gets the hand is collected, but I'm pretty sure it's out of print. It's under the title The Waterbearer and it is awesome.

Unfortunately, that's the only part of it collected. None of the Sub Diego stuff--which, in my opinion, is the really good part of that series--is collected in trades. You'd have to hunt down back-issues. :csad:

No, you're correct. It's the 90's all over again. (Only in smaller numbers)
Yep, those people are called "speculators." They're as dumb now as they were back in the '90s. Comics of today aren't gonna be worth s*** unless you plan on sitting on them for like 50 years and selling them after you retire, and maybe not even then.

Your best bet is to buy 200,000 copies, then burn all of them except like 10.....and even then that will be ruined by reprints. :o

Hahaha, I just imagined somebody actually doing that and the absurdity of it made me laugh. I'm laughing here. :funny:

I'm about halfway through the Shadowpact 25 issue run and I'm loving it so far. I wish I read it sooner and especially when it came out. You guys kept saying it wasn't that good. What didn't you guys like?

I'm going to start watching Dr Who.
Could be a terrible idea.

You'll either find it incredibly stupid or you'll become an obsessed teenage girl. Or both. Nothing in between, though.

Where's the link to the page that says DC has it all planed for the next 5 years and that for that time there won't be any event

Ok, it seems like nobody knows the answer, very well, can i ask another one?
I would like to know if New Comics #1 from 1935 is even worth reading or if the DC universe only actually begins in Detective Comics 1 with the character Slam Bradley.

To see how dc started, come on, golden age stories like Batman, superman, the original human-torch, namor and others are allways interesting

If you find comic book history interesting track down a copy and read it.

It's only really a question you can answer.

Personally, I'd rather read about what went down on wikipedia than actually read that old stuff, but you know, that's just me. :o

I like to do a bit of both. I read Wikipedia for quick backgrounds, but if I really take an interest in the characters or stories, I like to read them first-hand.

Have the sales numbers for October been posted? I keep reading things like "Justice League broke 200k" and "Batman and Action exceeded 100k," but whenever I go to check the source it's hearsay from another rumor mill.

Reading the old stuff can be hugely enriching. It's good to see how the old stories were told and the characters unfolded before dozens of retcons set in over the years.

Has DC played with the idea of Joker knowing Batman's id? Has it been hinted at anymore? Are we just supposed to forget how it was hinted at in Batman RIP?
