The baby sized rocket was the prototype. He was gonna build a bigger one, but there was no time. He was also gonna send the entire population of the planet into the phantom Zone, then let em out once he found a suitable planet for them to live on, but.....alas....no time.

Is there a Superman story where he drops a criminal off with the cops, then fills out a police report with his super-speed?

Have there been any notable stories where Batman (Bruce Wayne) went evil? Maybe headed the League of Assassins? Or is being a hero-turned-evil exclusively Superman :o

Do you mean Elseworlds or canon brainwashing/amnesia stuff?

I have a question about the Jokers past. In The Killing Joke he was shown to have a pregnant wife. I know it was supposed to be non-canon due to the Joker being the Joker but in Gotham Knights #50 he has a photo album that has pictures of her and him (pre-chemical bath) and he's fairly depressed looking over them. So is that just considered him having made all that up with the album for the hell of it or what?

Joker's past is multiple choice.

Though the chemist turned comedian who gets into Loan sharks who force him to become the Red Hood to pay off his debts whose pregnant wife gets blowed up by said crooks after The Batman busts up their heist and he gets tossed into a vat that bleaches his skin and turns his hair green and gives him a f**ked up grin for life is the origin that is most often used.

Of course after the reboot, who the f**k knows at this point?

Did the Penguin ever spend much time in England growing up? I started wondering, since his backstory inArkham City says he did, and he speaks with a Cockney accent. Another incarnation I'm very familiar with is Batman: The Animated Series, where he had somewhat of an English accent. But being a purist, I want know if it was really intended to be that way. Arkham City's backstory may have been made up for the game, and I can find no evidence outside of it that says he was sent to England as a chid. So, was this true in the comics, or not?

For all we know the Joker himself may not even truly remember who he was prior to becoming the Clown Prince of Crime.

Does multi-colored Kryptonite ever show up anymore?

Super expensive and rare? No they aren't. They're fairly cheap and plentiful.

Mainly because it's the best one.

If he knows beforehand that the bullet in the chamber is made of kryptonite, the gunman isn't close enough for the bullet to be affecting him already, and he remembers he has super speed that day, I don't see why not.

K's a fairly soft mineral anyway. It makes no sense why it should pierce his skin unless he had previous exposure to it to weaken him. He shouldn't just fall over dead when it comes near him. At worst it should shatter on him and irritate him until he just blows it away.

Yeah, you wanna kill Supes with K, try Gold.

Except that there have been plenty of comics where Kryptonite has been portrayed as: A) An element, B) Extremely strong and durable, and C) Not just hurting Superman but also temporarily robbing him of his powers so he 's vulnerable to mundane injuries while under it's effects. There's no consistent definition of what Kryptonite does to Superman besides being bad for his health.

Someone mentioned that multicolored kryptonite is still used... I'm pretty confident that no other forms of kryptonite have been shown in the New 52. I could be wrong, but as far as we know, green is the only one that exists in this continuity

Speaking of Kryptonite, has anyone read that Batman/Superman story K?
The one where they team up to get rid of the world's Kryptonite reserves?
It's a good story but it ends with the really rather badass reveal that Batman is secretly keeping it all in a hidden chamber of the Batcave.

Anything ever come of that story? i.e. Did Clark find out? If they collected it all, how did Superman stories use Kryptonite aftwards?

Seems like that's a story that would have some pretty far reaching consequences...

Can anyone tell me if the H' El arc is still going on in any of the Superman/Superboy comics?

Yeah, it is over. It concluded with issue 17, we are currently up to issue 20 waiting for 21.

The story H-el on Earth ended with H-el sort of failing with his plans however sort of succeeding as well because he was transported to krypton 12 years before its destruction. So it is over for now but it is inevitable that it will be revisited.
