I'm fairly certain Gordan is commisioner now.

.
Yes, i know that, but in New Earth James Gordon became Captain during Batman: Year One, so, what comic had him become comissioner?
Was it The Long Halloween?
I Sincerelly don't remember

So back around 2004 or so there was a comic that came out called Hard Time by Steve Gerber. I read the premise of the first issue or two and it really sounds interesting. Unfortunately, I see that it's also a fairly adult comic and I am a PG-13 kind of guy. So for anyone who's read it... what would give it a rated "R" feeling? Gore? Sex? Nudity? Abundance of language?

Just curious.

Also, I don't keep up with DC news as much. Any plans for Spectre to show up in the Nu52 yet?

It was like Oz with super powers.

I will say this, that big dudes b***h was kinda hot. And by b***h, I mean dude he forced into a tranny. :o

I'm reading through morrison's one million event right now.

There's a crapload of tie-ins, which ones are best/necessary/worth reading?

So I only read the Eclipso arc of when Saint Walker was in the JLA and I'm curious: what was the reasoning that he was suddenly able to make constructs? Prior to this comic Blue Lantern rings seem poorly limited.

Since there is only half a dozen blue lanterns out there you'd think he'd focus more on getting more blue lanterns than joining a super hero team on an alien planet.

Lets be serious here.....it ain't like they're all that busy. :o

Does anybody know where are the the last months sales charts in comics?
Is DC still selling much more than Marvel?

I don't know man. Does it really matter?

I'm fairly sure it's shortly after Dark Victory. I haven't read Long Halloween and Dark Victory in a while, but I think he's a Lieutennant in them.

Btw, does anyone here adhere to the DCnU timeline? Or has everyone got their own?

Cyborg's on the Justice League now. Is this related to the character being on Smallville and hanging out with Oliver and the League there?

If you want to make that connection, it's not hard to do so.

I'd say it's more likely that they needed a black dude, and since they just had to have Hal, they went for the only other black dude they could think of. Also, he was prominent in the DC Universe game as well.

If Superman is faster than a speeding bullet, could he avoid a kryptonite bullet if he knew that's what was going to be fired at him?
